The town of Hungry Horse was very nice and quiet. The host was wonderful and the house was perfect for staying near Glacier! If I came again I would stay at Karen and Curly Martins place.
This is a comfortable, spacious cabin unit with many well thought out amenities. The owners are friendly and kind. It is convenient to Glacier National Park. We would gladly stay there again.
If you're looking for a clean, comfy place to stay that's close to Glacier National Park and some decent restaurants, this is it! The owner was very helpful and goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is great!
This VRBO rental is phenomenal. Karen was so quick to answer any questions, both before the stay and while we were there. She was extremely knowledgeable and offered excellent advise to make our vacation even better. She went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and easy. I could not have asked for a better host or lodging. I would absolutely stay here again!
Karen was there to greet us. She showed us around and made sure we had everything we needed. Very cordial host. Very clean accommodations. Was very helpful in assisting us with the best ways to enter Glacier National Park, including some information regarding road construction and ways to avoid it. Our thanks to Karen and her husband regarding information about restaurants in the area and other things to see.
All went well during our stay, 4 days. It is close to Glacier and less expensive than some others I investigated. I did not know until I got there that it was an upstairs apartment. It was a bit difficult to carry the luggage up the stairs. We managed and loved the experience.
Very nice facility. Check in was easy and the accommodations excellent. Lots of space, clean and nice. Quiet, no TV but plenty of videos to watch. Very nice host. Only two things to be aware of. First, this may look like a cabin in the mountains but it's a residential neighborhood. Not a big deal really, just something to be aware of. Second, I booked this place with the idea it is close to an entrance to Glacier National Park. It is but you need reservations to use the West entrance during the summer, which we did not have and could not get. The result was a two hour drive to enter the park. Planning ahead would have solved this problem but again something to be aware of.
Great place to stay and Karen was a terrific host. She was easy to reach and very helpful with suggestions for places to go around town. Would definitely stay again!
This was the perfect location for our week long trip to visit Glacier National Park. The hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating. The space was clean and full of everything you could need.
Property advertised on Vrbo was not accurate. We were under the impression according to the website we would be staying in the cabin pictured on website, instead we were furnished with a room above owner's cabin. Was not aware we had to carry our luggage up a flight of stairs. View from front door was of a VERY rundown mobile home park.
Not the picturesque Montana mountains we were hoping for. Neighborhood was very scary and looked unsafe. We would not have booked had neighborhood and location of our room been disclosed prior. No privacy for us to enjoy and evening outdoors. Although house was tidy, linens were old and warn. Also pillows had a musty odor and were also old and warn.
The property and rental was nice and the host was very friendly and easy communication. Definitely follow the host’s directions to the place, because maps will try and take you there through a blocked sketchy area… we didn’t realize half of the town of Hungry Horse is abandoned and overgrown. The town itself and property’s neighbors did not give off good vibes.
This is a charming place, with everything necessary for a pleasant stay while enjoying Glacier National Park. The kitchen was well outfitted and the rooms were attractive.
Karen was great, she communicated perfectly prior to our arrival and then as we checked in. The unit was very clean and well stocked, very roomy and homey with a great selection of DVD's and VHS tapes to watch. Thank you
Enjoyable stay in Hungry Horse at Martins Vacation home. Our lovely host Karen made us feel welcome and right at home. The house was so warm and inviting--we loved the wooden walls, comfy beds, and the flower gardens. The hosts have thought of everything. Clean, spacious and comfortable. Do not miss the huckleberry milkshakes available in town!
Great host and comfortable, clean, spacious lodging
We had a very comfortable stay with Karen at her place. She was so accommodating and welcoming. The neighbors caused a bit of noise across the road one night but not the other. I would stay here again. Good access to west glacier, about 1hr15 from Logan’s pass
