This little cabin was perfect for our needs. It is close to Glacier and it is a nice place to come back to to prepare meals. We would definitely stay here again.
Great location and well stocked kitchen, very comfortable beds! Only downside was the need for better window coverings in the bedrooms and the train noise at night but I would absolutely stay there again!
Loved this cute cabin tucked in the woods. Very closer to Glacier NP. Quiet location and very peaceful. The home was well equipped. Owner was easy to communicate with. We would stay here again !!!
The cabin was as described. It was everything we needed. Dave was very nice and a great host. Communication was top notch. Cabin was clean location was great if u want to stay near west glacier
Our family of 5 truly enjoyed our stay is the lovely cabin. It was very clean and probably the most stocked rental we have ever been in. The location was perfect, a short 10 minute drive to the entrance of Glacier National Park. The owner, Dave, was very responsive. I would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.
This was a great property to stay at for our visit to Glacier National Park. It is very close to West Glacier and the cabin feels very isolated because of the trees surrounding it, even though there are other homes nearby. It was very quiet, plenty of room for the four of us, and very comfortable. Would highly recommend.
This is the perfect place for a family of five. The cabin is cozy and well kept. It is far enough away from other cabins and the main road that you feel fairly secluded. The location is very close to Glacier and you can be in the park in less than ten minutes. It is also very close to stores in case you need any supplies or groceries. I can't say enough about how great this place is. The owner, Dave, is very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend a stay here! When we come back to Glacier, we will surely try to stay here again!
Spacious, clean, comfortable, and well appointed cabin close to West Glacier (Apgar Village) entrance of Glacier NP. Secluded cabin on wooded back road but convenient to accessing many hikes on the Going To The Sun Road in the park. The only issue we had was Wi-Fi was very elusive and unpredictable. Several days we had no problem with it, others it was non-existent. But the comfort and convenience of the cabin far outweighed the Wi-Fi issue. Would definitely stay here again when visiting the park.
This Cabin in the woods is in a great location. Off the highway enough to feel secluded but yet very accessible. The place was clean and had all the little touches, including huckleberry taffy. The host was receptive to a text when we ran out of propane for the grill. The only slight draw back was the spotty cell service and weak internet signal. But we didn't mind 'being off the grid', plus it was kinda expected for Montana. We would 100% book this place again.

Spotty cell service is a common problem for the entire are from about end of June to end of August
This beautiful cabin was the perfect place for our trip to Glacier National Park. The roomy 2 bedroom cabin gave us plenty of space and provided ideal sleeping arrangements for our family of 4. We were less than 10 minutes from the park entrance and enjoyed the quiet semi-seclusion at the end of a long day.
This was an excellent location for access to the entire park, and we covered a good portion of it. The fall color was great when we went and the park was not as crowded. No reservations were needed for Going-to-the-Sun Road this late in the season, but open restaurants were few and far between so we fixed a lot of meals at the cabin.

About the host
Hosted by Dave Wicks
Dave Wicks originally purchased our amazing home away from home in 2011. The original owners kept a couple acres and built an adorable 900 sq ft cabin so that they could return any time they wanted...(it is hard to stay away!!) Luckily for us, they have decided to sell this, too. Now we own both. You can rent one or the other or both. It has plenty of trees in between for complete privacy.
Why they chose this property
The is the perfect get away cabin. It is very close to everything - Flathead Lake, Big Fork, Live Theater, Big Sky Waterslides, West Glacier, Lake McDonald, Hungry Horse Lake, Lions Head Lake, Lake Five, The Maze amusement center, Whitefish, hiking, white water rafting, horseback riding, helicopter rides...and more YET - it is located 1/2 mile off the main road in complete privacy.
What makes this property unique
We have a washer/dryer set in the bedroom, access to many different hiking trails and lakes, and privacy. We have had a grizzly, a black bear, loads of elk, deer, and hummingbirds. It just doesn't get any better than this!
