Emerald City Retreat: Cozy 2BRM Apartment with Backyard & Patio
Welcome to your Central District Seattle home! The space is a renovated, downstairs apartment with a luxuriously tiled bathroom and rain shower head complete with an electric fireplace, two queen beds, a designated workspace, outdoor patio and a small but growing collection of vinyls to explore. Just 2 miles to Capital Hill and 3 to Pikes Place market, you're close enough for a very short bus/bike/scooter ride but far enough for a quiet night's rest. You'll love it here!
Park off-street in your 1 included parking spot as far forward and to the left as you can (so we aren't blocked in) and then take the side staircase down to your private patio and keyless entrance. Main bedroom is on left, bathroom when you walk in and then the living space, kitchenette, and second (studio) bedroom are to the right. NOTE* 2nd bedroom is studio and bed is only divided from living room and kitchen by curtain but entire "studio" space has window and locking door to separate sleeping spaces
As life-long germaphobes, we take cleanliness seriously! The bedsheets and towels are hot-washed The carpets and floors are vacuumed after every guest All surfaces including the couch are cleaned with antibacterial cleaner/wipes
All genders, races, and sexualities welcome!
Guests have their own bathroom and kitchenette. We provide a induction cooktop (you'll find it tucked away in the kitchen cabinets) with pots and pans to match. You'll find plenty of utensils and dinnerware in the cabinets too, but let us know if you need more.
We used to live in the upstairs unit but recently had to move to another neighborhood (about 15 mins away) to accommodate for our growing family. :)
If you need anything however, please do not hesitate to reach out.
There's no shared areas except the driveway that you will share with our upstairs renters.
**The staircase heading to the unit is a bit steep and those with mobility issues, elderly or small children may need to be monitored or assisted on the decent. Its no worse than any other staircase and there are handrails and lights to assist but thought we'd give a heads up!

Very good

The disappointment, it’s advertised for a 2BEDROOM, instead I got 1bedroom and a curtain splitting the living room area, sofa one side and and bedroom on the other. Also, it claims there a TWIN SIZE BED, well the sofa doesn’t convert into anything, it’s just a sofa. A basement conversion, calling it a COZY 2bedroom Home. Thumbs down!!

Juan, with respect, your review is misrepresenting the space. Our property is exactly what is shown in the listing — one full private bedroom and one separate studio bedroom - all clearly photographed and described. Every guest before and after your stay has understood the layout without any confusion. To make things even clearer, we’ve now added a full walkthrough video.
Both spaces are separate with locking doors making them separate rooms.
Regarding early check-in: it is not automatic and must be requested ahead of time. You arrived expecting it without communicating beforehand, yet our cleaner still rushed to accommodate you as a courtesy.
We always aim for accuracy, transparency, and great hospitality. We encourage guests to carefully review listings and communicate needs in advance so their stay meets expectations. Wishing you well in your future travels.”
