The space is clean and suitable for small groups. One of the 3 rooms has a massive threshold on the floor that we and our toddlers tripped over constantly. We placed a rug over it to help make it less abrupt. The biggest downside was how the space is not equipped for cold weather. The outside temperatures dropped dramatically during our stay (obviously out of the host's control), but the floors were freezing, and the heater struggled to keep up despite being set to the high 70s. We left early to avoid spending another night in the cold. I could see this being a fine space for adults to stay in warmer weather, but I would not recommend it for young families in cold weather.

Cozy little place to stay

The location was good. It didn’t take long to get to all the places in the city. Nice size for family of 4. It would be small for more people.

Great place

We found this second floor place to be just a really perfect spot. We walked to supper the first night. There’s a green space park nearby and Walgreens is a block up. We were also only about 15-20 minutes from every attraction we went to. Hosts were great and had wonderful communication. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice weekend stay

The host responded to messages in a timely manner and was very pleasant. The place was very nice and everything we wanted to see (Arch, Zoo, Aquarium, etc.) was within 15-20min drive. Only downside was the 3rd bedroom was more of a small area with a pullout loveseat. We very much enjoyed our long weekend and can't wait to visit again!

Just what we needed

My mother, two children, and I rented this property over the new years weekend. The property was comfortable and clean, perfect for our needs. I would note that there are steep steps upon the entrance, so if you have mobility issues be aware. The heating was sufficient and my kids loved the space. Water pressure and temperature was perfect! We also felt extremely safe in the area. I would 100% recommend for groups of 4. Edward was very attentive to our needs. Thank you for opening your home to us!

Spring break getaway

Perfect little apartment for a St Louis getaway. Beds were comfy and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils to cook. Owner even left behind some spices, coffee, and snacks which was a thoughtful treat. The apartment was tastefully decorated with an industrial feel. Some pictures in the listing may have been prior to a redecoration but that wasn’t a problem. Our main hangout while here was the kitchen table and the small den off the kitchen. This was where we were able to watch movies and hang as a family. I think this room also doubles as a sleeping area but we did not use that as a bedroom. There was a grill available which was super helpful. Laundry supplies, additional garbage/cleaning supplies, and shower supplies were available which was also very thoughtful. You can tell the owners care and want to make sure all expectations are met. There is a family in the apartment below you and parking on a slab behind the house. Thanks for a great stay - would stay again when we return.

When booking the check in time said 4, however the host said it 5. As for the property itself, some things were not up to par or disclosed in the listing. The pictures of the property were confusing because it looks like 2 different living/dining room set ups. For reference the pictures with the brown table and chairs are how it looks. The stove was dirty on top and hadn’t been cleaned on the inside. The comforters were also different. I stayed in the room with the tv on the wall, which didn’t have any closets or dressers. There was a hornet between the window and curtain. It looked as if animal hair was on the sheets in this room. My mom stayed in the other queen bedroom, which had a dresser and two closets. The comforter in this room looked ripped near the top and looked to have some blood on the inside when it was pulled down. The door to the bathroom would catch on the floor if opened too far, which means the floor is slantedTherefore, the floor must be slightly slanted. The third bedroom, with the twin sized bed probably had the largest tv, but was in the smallest room. The door knob which looked like glass came off in my hand when I opened it. The stairs were definitely very steep and small to go up. Similar to the comforter, there was some blood on the carpet on the stairs. As for the lock on the door, there is only one and it didn’t seem that secure. Every night, we put a chair in front of the door, just as an extra precaution. Regarding parking, there was space in th

This apartment was perfectly located for where we wanted to be staying for family activities, as well at the ball park & down town without being in downtown We were within 4 to 20 minutes of each event we were attending.
