Black Bear Falls Resort offers access to a community pool seasonally with a pool pass, typically open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, depending on the weather and resort management's discretion. The pool is just a short drive away, with parking available in front of the pool area.

Guest access
• Self check-in is with a smart lock. You will receive your code 3 days prior to check-in or sooner for last-minute bookings.

• You will have access to the property, with the exception of the owner's closet.

Other things to note
• We decorate for the fall and Christmas holiday season, adding a festive touch to your stay!

• There is parking on the driveway for 2 vehicles. The cabin is easily accessible by paved roads the whole way. The driveway is on an incline, but it is easily accessible for most.

During winter months, it's recommended to use a four-wheel drive vehicle (4WD), and snow chains as an extra safety measure.

• The property isn't childproof and children will need to be supervised at all times to ensure their safety.

• The cabin is nestled in the woods of the Smoky Mountains, you may see and hear critters even at night. Also, the roof is metal and there is no attic so if it rains you will hear it. If a squirrel or other critter crawls on the roof you will hear it. We have the cabin regularly treated by a professional pest control company to ensure we are as proactive as possible.

If you encounter a black bear, keep your distance and never feed or disturb it. Don’t leave food or strong-smelling items in your vehicle, and keep doors locked including cabin doors as they can break in. Always use the bear-proof garbage can next to the cabin's front entrance and make sure it is securely latched.

• There are two exterior floodlight security cameras — one overlooking the entryway and one overlooking the driveway. The floodlights offer excellent illumination for your convenience when arriving or leaving at night.

An ADT security system is installed in the kitchen, and the camera is disabled. Upon request, you may use the security system during your stay.

• This cabin sleeps 6 guests maximum. Only the guests specified in the reservation are allowed to stay at the property including children and infants. No third-party rentals. The property cannot be rented on behalf of someone else if the person making the reservation will not be staying at the property or will not be present for the entire duration of the rental.
