Hale Nalu " House of the Waves ": 2-bedroom ocean view cottage in Yachats

Welcome to our new & owner built home & cottage. Hale Nalu is set just back from Yachats Ocean Road in Yachats, Oregon and the sea can be viewed from the living room and deck. This property features 2 cozy bedrooms with a king bed and two twin beds (can be made into a second King with advance notice), perfect for a small group. It is attached by an open breezeway to the main house which is owner & Vizsla occupied. The cottage has it's own private entrance, parking and deck. The ocean is just 70 yards away and we are situated along the Yachats Ocean Rd State Natural Site. Feel free to reach out to us during your stay - we're happy to suggest local spots to check out. We leave guests to their own adventures unless you would like our input or assistance.

Hale Nalu is a gem. From fine construction to tasteful appointments that are fun and comfortable. We were two adults but it is a great home for a family of four. Tons of amenities - has every thing and more you need for cooking and fine dining. The house is close to all outdoor activities (trails for hiking, tidepools, beaches, etc) and great restaurants. We will rent again.

My husband Terry (a contractor of 25 years & a Real Estate Broker) and I ( an RN of 21 years) are both born and raised Oregonians. After spending time in a variety of Oregon communities, we have settled on the beautiful coast and have spent the past 2 years building our own house here in Yachats. We have wrestled beams, walls, windows and all the details into place and now look forward to sharing a piece of our home.

The ocean is a shared love of both Terry and I. It is what brings us peace and brought us together to create our full time home and community.
