SUMMER 2026-ASK ABOUT OUR 5 NIGHT WEEKDAY SPECIAL!

Salmon Trout Lane is a 4 Season, 2 bedroom cottage which sits on a quiet bay at the south end of Salmon Trout lake. The cottage comes with a fully equipped kitchen with small and large appliances, bathroom with shower, satellite TV and a DVD player. For you and your guests enjoyment, it comes with a paddle boat, canoe, kayaks, paddle board and 12ft aluminum boat with oars (your motor can be used). Cottage offers a lovely private clean swimming area with deep off the dock water and gradual entry at the shore. There is also a bunkie available that could sleep additional guests. There is a large deck off the main cottage with a propane BBQ and outdoor furniture. There is also a large screened in porch area. 4 Lifejackets are available in limited sizes. There is also a fire pit down by the waters edge for further family enjoyment. Limited amount of firewood is provided.

Salmon Trout lake is a beautiful spring fed lake (which has walleye & small mouth bass) its approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes from Toronto or Ottawa and is located 20 minutes north of Bancroft an amazing small town with all the amenities of large city.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cottage. It was very clean and it had everything we needed and more! We loved spending some time in the Muskoka room playing games and watching the fireflies at night. The hosts were helpful and attentive. We would love to return one day.

We loved everything about this property. Beautiful Getaway - Will Stay Again!

We enjoyed every moment of our stay. The outdoor spaces are amazing with the screened in area and the cottage is clean, cozy and welcoming. Great amenities and even with some rainy days we still had fun! The homeowners were friendly and easy to reach, quick to respond and also very welcoming. We are so happy to have found this gem. Our family have rented other cottages on Salmon Trout before but this is our favorite by far! Great communication with owners, well kept cottage and all amenities you can think of. The fishing was awesome and the lake was great to swim in. Our daughter had a blast! We had a wonderful stay , the cottage was spotless with many ameneties. The grounds were well kept and spacious. A lovely cottage. The screened porch was a great space, since we were there during the early spring. We enjoyed the kayaking, some swimming (on the warmer days) and sitting on the docks. Heard and saw loons too. Very dog friendly!!

So peaceful, the screened in porch was a god send, since we did get some heavy rains. How ever, after the rain storms the firebrand was lefted and we were able to have a bonfire. Wonderful hosts, perfect location for us. Can’t wait to return ❤️

We enjoyed an amazing four nights! We couldn’t have asked for more - the cottage was cozy and charming, the waterfront was beautiful and the location was perfect. Perfect cottage getaway

We stayed at Darrell and Michelle's cottage with our son (3.5yrs) and our dog, and had a wonderful time. The selection of boats and water toys was such an excellent feature - we canoed and swam every day. The cottage is very comfortable and clean, with everything you'd need. Hoping to be able to come back soon!
