Panoramic Hudson Valley Views at Romantic and Private Mountainside Estate
Only one mile from Beacon's thriving Main St., yet completely secluded and away from any neighbors, this is a gorgeous guest suite on a private equestrian estate overlooking Beacon, the Hudson River and surrounding valley. Not only are you surrounded by amazing views, but the romantic horse barn houses your "roommates" 2 horses and 2 mini donkeys who will greet you coming and going. The suite is upstairs with windows that look down into the stalls. (the suite is specially designed to not smell). The evenings are spectacular with beautiful sunsets and sparkling lights from the cities below.
This luxurious suite has: 1 bedroom (California king bed and gas fireplace), spacious living room/kitchen area, red light therapy/yoga loft, and full bathroom. Wrap around balcony and North and South deck boasts: outdoor 7 person hot tub, grill and seating for the exclusive use of the suite guests.
The romantic bridal-inspired bedroom has a king bed, modern 3 sided gas fireplace, and glass sliders to a covered balcony with river views. Another sliding glass door leads you to your private hot tub on the covered deck and horse ring views. Vintage reclaimed barn wood adorn the vaulted ceilings. Relax in bed, watch Smart TV and enjoy the romantic fireplace or check out the window that peeks into the charming center aisle complete with views into the horse and donkey stalls.
The living room/kitchen area has a seating area for hanging out and watching Direct TV. Sliders in the living room lead to the South deck with Weber grill, outdoor table and seating. Sliders in the front open to the covered balcony which lead you around to the North deck with the hot tub. Enjoy a glass of wine soaking in the private hot tub while watching the sun go down and the lights below begin to twinkle.
Underneath the North deck, you will find an outdoor ping pong table in the shade, complete with paddles, balls and scoreboard for your enjoyment.
The spacious bathroom has a double sink and walk in shower lined with handmade subway tiles.
In the kitchen, amenities include; new professional gourmet stove, microwave, crock pot, toaster and Keurig coffee maker. We provide complementary coffees and teas, fresh eggs from our chickens, as well as pantry items such as microwave popcorn, smores kit, granola bars and pancake mix.
Upstairs is a loft designed for improving the mind, soul and body. This little studio with wide oak floors is outfitted with yoga accessories such as mats, blocks, light weights, rollers and a stability ball so you can indulge in your favorite yoga and stretching routine. To go along with the wellness theme, we have built a full body red light therapy bed. Red light therapy works by using specific wavelengths of red light to penetrate the skin and stimulate cellular activity. This stimulation can lead to a variety of beneficial effects, including stimulating collagen production, which is essential for skin firmness and elasticity. Additionally, it can help with muscle recovery, reduce inflammation, and even offer cognitive and mental health benefits. Many professional athletic teams, such as the San Francisco 49ers, use this exact red light from JOOVV for their muscle recovery as well as many celebrities, like Jennifer Aniston, use this red light in their beauty routine to help keep youthful looking skin.
This mountain side setting backs up to 4,000 acres of protected forest land with hiking trails right from the door step. Hike up to the Beacon Reservoir, the Fire Tower with Manhattan views and/or the top of Mount Beacon.
For exploring the city, Beacon is full of shops, galleries and restaurants including The Roundhouse, Cooper's, Towne Crier and the Hudson Valley Brewery.

We stayed during peak fall colors and the views were breathtaking! We can’t say enough about how lovely our stay was. The space was beautifully decorated, and the area peaceful. We enjoyed hiking, biking through Storm King as well as the shopping and restaurants of Beacon. Looking very forward to returning.
Beautiful, peaceful santuary up in the woods. The house had all the amenities you could need. The view at sunset was stunning. The fireplace in the bedroom delightful. I plan to come back.
We had a wonderful time staying here. The view was absolutely breathtaking! This was especially true when using the hot tub. We also loved the amenities the host provided, like coffee and some fresh eggs for breakfast. It was also a lot of fun seeing, petting and feeding the horses and donkeys that lived below where we stayed. Our only minor word of caution, is if you are driving, the road to the house is a bit rough so don't bring a low riding vehicle.
I booked this for a romantic getaway for my husband and I for our anniversary and his birthday and it did not disappoint! The home and property is absolutely beautiful. The views are beyond amazing! we could not ask for more, we left so relaxed and happy.
My husband and I had an amazing stay at Lamb’s Hill. Definitely was the most unique property we have ever stayed at. There are lovely views of the river as you are literally on the top of a mountain. We loved interacting with the animals down below, lounging in the hammock, using the hot tub, trying out the red light therapy up on the loft, and reading on the deck. We explored the town of Beacon during the day and returned in the evening to enjoy a bottle of wine while playing some of the board games. If you are looking for a truly unique romantic getaway- this is the place!
You can't go wrong with this property if you are looking for a unique and majestic experience away from the crowds. Every detail you experience in the home and on the property feels intentional and is done perfectly. We had a wonderful weekend and can't wait to go back again!
Amazingly relaxing stay in a perfectly set-up escape. Felt peaceful from the moment we arrived. The layout and facilities are thoughtful and super comfortable with everything taken care of from toilettries to coffee pods and even freshly-laid eggs. Having the horses and donkeys in close proximity was magical, with every departure or return an opportunity for a snack feeding! Huge clean tub with the best views to end the day. Will definitely return.
We loved our stay at the Equestrian Suite. The house was very clean and there were nice little extras like granola bars, popcorn, etc. The views were absolutely amazing! We planned to go to Beacon to explore the town but honestly we enjoyed the time at the rental even more. Only side note - driveway is gravel and up a very steep hill! We did not have the best vehicle for this and it was a little bit dicey the first time up since it was raining. AWD vehicles would probably be best!

Absolutely AMAZING!!!!
The pictures online are exactly what your going to walk into! the ride up the mountain had me a little nervous, I met Charlotte half way up and when we arrived at the top we were taken back by the views. the suite was absolutely beautiful, views from the hot tub in the morning with coffee and sunset at night were breathtaking. Location was perfect literally a mile from main street, the town of Beacon was awesome with great shops and restaurants. We had dinner at the Culinary Institute of America one evening and that was about a 30 minute ride 90% of which were all back roads so it was a beautiful ride. We will definitely be back again, fall would be even more stunning to stay!

Thank you so much, Dennis. We would love to have you come back to the suite this fall!
This mountain side estate does not disappoint! Breathtaking sunset views and nightly views of the city below are nothing short of a fairytale. The estate was incredibly clean and had no smell whatsoever from the "house mates" below. The horses and donkeys were so fun to greet coming and going. I was worried about flies, being over a barn, but I didn't see a single fly. We did have one issue arise that was no fault to the owner. We mentioned it to the caretaker, and she was prompt to get it resolved.
Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we have decided that a return visit is a MUST in the future.
I write for a living and I don’t really have words accurate enough to describe how special this place is. I didn’t want to leave and we plan to make an annual trip here moving forward. This is a true Bucket List location. The only downside is the driveway, which is mildly terrifying until you get used to it. I really wouldn’t recommend driving anything but a 4-wheel drive vehicle up there.
We had an incredible 4-night stay at this special property. It was immaculately clean and very comfortable. The views were truly stunning and the animals a ton of fun and lots of laughs. The location was fantastic, just a couple of minutes to town but it felt very private and secluded. The driveway up to the house goes through the woods and was beautiful - totally not an issue if you ever driven on an unpaved country road. Everything was as advertised, and this was our first ever 100% issue free vacation rental. This special place made for special memories on our anniversary trip.
This property was pure magic. The views were amazing, the house was beautiful and the horses/donkeys were so great to interact with. It was the best weekend away we have ever had, and can't wait to come back again.
This place was absolutely stunning and worth every penny! The property was so clean, the bed was so comfortable, the views were breathtaking. We are so looking forward to coming back again!
We stayed for a much needed weekend away, took our time enjoying the quiet (and the hot tub!), touring around, and eating in town. Just as pictured, we loved it!
Overall, things were very good. Charlotte was easy to communicate with, check-in was a breeze, the location was beautiful, and the accommodation was generously stocked with anything one could need for the kitchen or bathroom.
I think most people would find this a wonderful place to stay, but there are a few small things folks should be aware of:
The site and views from it are outstanding, but to get to it, you have to drive up a long, somewhat steep and windy gravel road. This was no problem in good weather for our AWD vehicle, but some folks may find it a bit challenging or intimidating.
While the high-use areas in the bathroom, kitchen, and bedroom were very clean, there were a few articles visibly left under some furniture in the main sitting room, a wrapper was on the bed, and less trafficked areas could have been better cleaned. The fan in the bathroom and the A/C unit in the kitchen were in serious need of cleaning.
As the listing states, it is over the stable. As a result, there are lots of flies around, and one or two occasionally makes its way inside. In addition, while the aroma of the stable was only very mildly detectable in the portion of the suite near the door on most days, on rainy/wet days, it was a bit more pronounced.
Finally, the suite is very nicely furnished in a bridal style, which, while looking lovely, isn't always the most practical (e.g. light white fabric curtains that don't keep sunlight out of the bedroom, fuzzy lounge chairs that aren't the best seating for watching TV).
This all being said, as I hope the star rating reflects, we had a very nice time at this lovely, clean accommodation in a gorgeous setting with a very thoughtful host.
We were there for West Point parents weekend and this place provided an amazing place for our son to relax. It is very nice and quiet with unbelievable views.
