This house was so cute and the layout was so open and inviting. It’s my new favorite floor plan! It was a great place for visiting and hanging out. The view of Lake Hood from the master bedroom was amazing. We simply loved hearing the float planes taking off every morning and getting to watch them from the window. Our family of six stayed here for six nights during our stay in Anchorage. There was plenty of room for our teenage boys to spread out. The kitchen was well equipped and spacious and easy to use to cook and save money on eating out. So many little details many hosts leave for the guest to provide (tp, paper towels, coffee filter, tissues, etc) were there for us to use. It made our first shopping trip much less urgent than is usual in our experiences with vacation home rentals. The backyard had a hammock and cornhole boards and a grill. We were too busy taking day trips to use the backyard, but there was plenty to do at the house if we needed some down time. Lindsay was quick to respond every time I messaged, and we had no issues whatsoever checking in or out. I’m not sure we’ll ever make it back to Alaska, but if we do, this would be our first choice place to stay again! We loved every minute!
