About the host
Hosted by Jamie Bjerke
We’re so glad that you are considering the Mississippi Riverfront Sunset House. Our family has been playing on the Mississippi for many years — it’s a place filled with our favorite memories of boating, tubing, wakeboarding, fishing, jet skiing, and afternoons at the beach.
This river has always been our family’s time together — a space to slow down, laugh a little louder, and enjoy the simple joy of being together. When we can’t be here ourselves, it makes us so happy to share this special place with others who want to experience the same river adventures. Enjoy glowing sunsets, hiking/biking trails, biking, yard and board games, time by the fire, the entertainment space in the garage and local attractions that we love.
We’ve designed this home to be a comfortable gathering place for families, friends, and all who appreciate the outdoors. Whether you’re here to fish at sunrise, float under the summer sun, or cozy up around the fire pit at night. We hope you make memories that will last long after your stay.
Thank you for treating our home with care and for being part of what makes this place so special. We hope your time here brings you as much joy as it has brought us.
We hope you enjoy the river, the sunsets, and the special memories you’ll make during your stay. If you need anything during your stay, we’re only a phone call or text away and just an hour’s drive from the home.

What makes this property unique
At the Mississippi Riverfront Sunset House, we love creating simple traditions that make time together extra special. One of our favorites is enjoying a bag of warm, buttery microwave popcorn during movie nights or while watching the river at sunset. To share a little piece of that tradition with you, we’ve included complimentary popcorn for your stay. You’ll find the popcorn in the kitchen cabinet stocked with games, cards, coloring pages, and cozy blankets to use outside by the fire. Beach towels are available as well, making it easy to head out for a day on the water. Use our bikes(2), kayaks(2), and paddleboard to enjoy the Mississippi River. And last, during the warmer months, we provide freezies for a sweet, refreshing treat. We hope these small touches bring a smile to your face and help make your visit feel a little more like home.
