Excellent Home Base

A beautiful place close to all outdoor activities in the southern Bitterroot Valley. None of the places we visited were much more than an hour away. The home has every conceivable amenity available for a guest's use. We enjoyed our time here and would most definitely stay here again.

Annual fishing trip

Came to Hamilton for our annual Montana fish and golf trip. Lisa was a great host - providing us with dining recommendations and even some welcome treats! The house was beautiful, had everything you could ever need. Close to town and great patio and backyard to to relax and unwind after a day on the river !

Perfect house for a family get together! Fully fenced backyard, lots of common space, comfortable bed/bathroom set up. The house is fully air conditioned, which we didn't see mentioned in the listing - it kept us very cool on a hot July weekend! Thank you!

This is the perfect site for a family with teenagers. The foosball table was an extra bonus. Every day hovered near the 100 degree mark. Who knew AC would be so welcomed in Montana?

Our stay was fabulous. Lisa the owner was always available and quick to respond to any questions. The home was beautiful, well decorated, sleeping arrangements were super comfortable and provided everything one would need in a kitchen and bathroom. We used the basement highly recommend it! Great neighborhood and 3 min from a great grocery store. Did lots of hikes and lake time! Overall great trip, thank you Lisa for proving an amazing home to stay!

Hamilton reunion

We were in town for a family reunion. After our younger brother passed away we wanted to gather and honor his family. This house was perfectly located to join the rest of our family. Our only complaint is that the mattresses on all of the beds were quite uncomfortable. Sure appreciated the cleanliness and treats left by our host.

Great for a family

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful home. It had everything our family needed for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. We stayed here with my in-laws, an infant, and a toddler — it was truly perfect for a family. The house was incredibly clean and located in a nice, quiet neighborhood with a stunning view of the mountains. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind and make memories together. The host communicated with us well in advance. We needed a slight change with our reservation which we found out a couple months before check in. Host worked with us to get the change taken care of. In the days before the check in she ensured we had received the instructions. She provided us contact information and encouraged us to reach out if we needed anything. We had a question about the AC thermostat, which she responded to right away and explained what to do. She was so incredibly helpful. We highly recommend this home and would happily stay here again!

Noisy water pipes

Something in the basement made it super noisy. Seemed like water pipes or something. They were clunking all night long making it impossible to sleep. Once fixed, I would say this place is worth staying at. But without that, forget trying to get any sleep.

Beware - extra charges for 3rd bedroom access.

I booked the property based on the title page stating it was a 3 bedroom. Later when I read the description (note to self to read full description before booking) if you want access to the 3rd bedroom there is an additional fee and another cleaning deposit required. When I asked the property manager about this and stated that it wasn't clear (should have been listed as a 2 bedroom instead of a 3 bedroom), she said it was in the description and would not adjust pricing or give access. Also, luckily the front door was unlocked as the check in instructions were never sent prior to arriving.

Hi Coby, I'm sorry you weren't able to read the description of the home before you booked... there was no reason I would know that. But, I was glad I was able to get you an early check-in...I always accommodate whenever I can. You were booked for only one person and never asked about the 3rd bedroom or basement and again I would have no idea you hadn't read the listing until you sent an email a few days before you arrived. As it clearly states the3rd bedroom is in the basement. Everything was in the description and I have many guests who ask questions before booking. The additional cleaning fee for the basement is what housekeeping charges because it is as big as the upstairs & as a result takes additional people to help clean the whole house so of course there would be an additional fee for them. The details about the uniques rental options on this house are actually in 2 places on the listing description. It is been there since we finished the basement 3 years ago. We offer it that way because not every booking needs or wants that much space and of course, the whole house is a higher fee per night. We listed the house as a whole in the beginning and were asked early on if we would consider renting just the upstairs for a separate price...so we decided to offer that as an option and it has worked out great our guests appreciate the 2 options. Unfortunately, VRBO does not have a way to add the basement to the booking, yet So, as mentioned guests will get a separate fee request. Again, you never asked about the basement before or after the initial booking, and because your booking was for only 1 person, that didn't seem unusual to me. Thank you for being a great guest, you left the house very clean and we truly appreciated you. Lisa

The home was well taken care of. Very warm comfortable and inviting. The setting was a quiet well taken care of neighborhood. Houses weren't to close, had a peaceful country setting. Was close to town. I would and have recommended this property and would come back and stay. I had a wonderful 9 days and think of the time I spent there often.
