Cozy streamside cabin, convenient to Ski Liberty and Gettysburg

Completely renovated with custom windows, gourmet kitchen, hardwood floors, and artistic trim. one full bed, one queen bed plus queen futon in sleeping loft which is accessed by a steep ladder. Our kitchen is fully stocked! Microwave, coffee maker, and all the pots and pans for a holiday meal! Sleep to the sound of the adjacent creek. There is a streamside fire ring and a grill on the patio. Pets welcome!

Our stay at the cabin was great! Location was great as it was so close to Gettysburg where we spent a few days. We absolutely loved being able to go on the back patio to hangout by the creek making for such a peaceful environment to relax. The owner was very quick to respond when we had a slight issue and was very understanding. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We really loved the inside of the cabin, it was cute and clean and so well stocked. Having dogs with us, i may have liked to know how close that road is to the property (not much space to walk them) but, that being said...everything else was lovely.

I was looking for a beautiful rustic cabin with a real creek and I struck gold. Relaxing, spiritual retreat, in a beautiful area, with plenty of hiking and soaking in the early bright green haze of blooming trees. We loved it and would love to return

This cozy little cabin was the perfect place to unwind and relax after a busy day touring Gettysburg. The sound of the running stream was a great way to go to sleep at night. The cabin had everything you would need to cook a big meal if you chose to. I would definitely recommend and will be going back to the cozy cabin by the stream.

We wanted a place that was close to Gettysburg but also in the country and close to hiking trails so this was perfect. We brought our dog and all had a great time. The place is unique and super cool. I slept better here than I have away at any place in years.

The property was fantastic, the cabin right next to the stream was wonderful. The kitchen and living area were clean and comfortable. There was some issue with the air conditioner in one of the bedrooms, it didn't work so well because the filter needed cleaning and there was no way to remove it to do so. Also the shower faucet was a little finicky, it was loose and felt difficult to find a good temperature, and the floor of the shower had a significant bounce/sag that didn't feel too secure. Those were some minor things and they did not subtract from our stay, we had a great time. Thanks!

This rustic cabin is right on a good flowing stream and it is very relaxing siting out back and listening to the water. The area is wooded and just overall peaceful. Well stocked kitchen for cooking and provided enough paper products and towels. Regular and Keurig coffee pots, provides ground coffee. Bedrooms have A/C units as well as individual heat. Lots of seating inside.Close to Gettysburg, which is where we were visiting.

We had a wonderful stay. This cabin is so peaceful with the trout stream babbling just outside the bedroom windows and a cozy interior. It's very convenient to groceries, etc in Fairfield and for Civil War/history buffs it's close to both Gettysburg and Monterey Pass battlefields. The trails on the Michaux State Forest and nature center are just a stone's throw away and fun to explore. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. Can't say enough good things about this rental or Paul!

When this cabin came up for sale by the nature preserve next door, I jumped at the chance to transform a tumble down shack on the edge of a mountain stream into a quirky artistic statement that I hope you will enjoy and appreciate. Close to Gettysburg and Liberty Mountain ski resort, yet in a world of its own with Middle Creek lapping up against the patio, you will love the serenity when you arrive. Large windows in both bedrooms practically bring the creek into the room. A fully stocked kitchen makes family meals easy to cook. Hiking trails less than 1/8 mile away, state forest across the stream makes the nature lovers happy. Please note: Our cabin is adjacent to a State forest! Despite our vigilant attempts to make our cabin free from mother nature , occasionally forest insects find the cabin to be as nice a place as we do.
