Luxury cottage beach retreat—best indoor/outdoor living spaces w/porch, fire pit, hot tub *EV charger available* - walk to the beach!
This home's recent complete interior and exterior remodel has transformed this home into a beautiful three-bedroom, two-bath, 1-story, 1,700 sq. luxury cottage in the quaint village of Cardiff - where you are close to many local attractions and can also easily enjoy the more “yesteryear” aspects of a small(er) community along the coast. This home is located in the quieter neighborhood area of the oceanside/surf community.
Outside amenities include
a six-person hot tub, a barbecue, an outdoor shower, and a sand play area for bocce ball, corn hole or just hanging out. There is ping pong/table tennis set up in the garage for more indoor/outdoor living fun.
The main area of the home is a lovely open concept with a cathedral ceiling. The great room has a gas fireplace and a large smart TV, open to the adjoining kitchen with large island and many kitchen amenities and also the 6-seat dining area. The space invites you to socialize, celebrate, cook, eat, watch and hang out with friends and family. It is a special treat to open the La Cantina doors from the great room and enjoy the porch with its outdoor oasis anytime of day—while you watch the hummingbirds with your morning coffee or relax at the end of the day to a gorgeous sunset.
This home has three bedrooms: the master is the gem—with king size bed, lots of pillows, a wall-mounted smart TV, and a comfortable sitting/reading nook. The master has easy access to the hot tub outside via french doors. The en suite bath boasts a soaking tub, a large dual head walk-in shower, and a private outdoor shower which is definitely “spa-like”.
The second bedroom has a comfy queen bed and the third bedroom works great to flex for 2-3 people with its two twin beds, one of which has an additional twin trundle bed underneath. The second hallway bathroom has a luxurious deep tub with an overhead shower. All beds and bathrooms are furnished with a generous supply of linens to ensure you are comfortable at all times.
Additional amenities include a washer and dryer in the garage, high-speed WIFI, a Bluetooth stereo receiver and three outdoor driveway parking spots. Some beach chairs and gear are in the garage. EV charging is available to access for an additional fee.
Choose this vacation oasis, one mile or nice walk to San Elijo State Beach and you will definitely feel like you are experiencing a beautiful little slice of paradise. And it is very likely that you will create precious memories here that will last a lifetime. We have many return guests. This home is two-and-a-half miles from San Diego Botanic Garden and six miles from Powerhouse Park &Beach.
–Unit Specific Contract Terms–
Special events and commercial filming are prohibited per Encinitas Municipal code 9.38.050 U and V.U. No Special Events Permitted on site. Wedding, corporate events, commercial functions, and any other similar events that have the potential to cause traffic, parking, noise or other problems in the neighborhood are prohibited at the short-term rental property or as a component of the short-term rentalactivities.
V. No Commercial filming. No commercial filming shall occur on site of the short term rental property concurrently with an active short term rental permit

• There is a $15/day seasonal charge for hot tub use.
• EV charger access for registered guest only at $15/day.
• This home is in a quiet neighborhood and is only suitable for quieter groups. Our rental agreement includes a no- tolerance policy regarding excessive noise, occupancy, and/or parties.
• Deposit forfeitures and/or evictions are strictly enforced. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting.
• Please note: reservations for this home will not be refunded if canceled within 60 days of arrival.
