Historic Spanish home within walking distance of Cardiff Towne Center, Downtown Encinitas and the beach! Enjoy outdoor living with a dining table, firepit and two yards for the kids to play in. Recently updated. Enjoy a complimentary meal at our local Encinitas restaurant with your stay! No parties at all as this is a quiet residential neighborhood and no smoking anywhere on the premises. Maximum of 8 guests. Downstairs of carriage house included.

We are both originally from the Pacific Northwest and moved to Cardiff 30 years ago where we raised a family and became part of an amazing community. Now that we are empty nesters we spend the winters here in Cardiff and the rest of the year in Colorado.

Why they chose this property

We love that we can share our historic home with others. It is a beautiful, warm home with a Spanish eclectic vibe. We especially enjoy the outdoor gardens and the arched picture windows. We love the neighborhood because it is quiet yet close to the beach.

What makes this property unique

Casa by the Sea is one of the original homes built in Cardiff in the 1930s and has been updated and decorated to reflect the original charm of that period. We love the character of the architecture and the serenity of the outdoor gardens. We would like to treat you to a complimentary breakfast at our restaurant, the 101 Diner, in old Encinitas. A gift certificate will be in the guestbook upon arrival. Enjoy!
