RENTERS BEWARE!! The hot tub was absolutely disgusting and unsafe. The bedspread had stains on it and the home smelled of smoke/marijuana. Initially the home appeared nice and as described and aside from the smell, was in fact clean. However, after only a few hours of being there we were extremely disappointed. I contacted the host and although they said they were going to fix the issues they were NOT proactive in doing so. After an entire day of waiting for a response, we decided to leave the property and rent another home. The whole reason we rented this place was for the hot tub because I am recovering from surgery and using the heat for added pain releif. Having to pack and leave and rent a new home while on vacation in an unknown area was extremely inconvenient, stressful, scary, and created unnessesary and unexpected expenses. I requested a partial refund and it has been over a month and the only phone call I have received was from the property management company that gave me directions to send a message through VRBO that i would remove my review for the partial refund. I did what they asked and have heard nothing back from them still. Furthermore, the owner has made fraudulent reports that we damaged their property, regarding a gate that was already broken. This has been THE WORST experience EVER! I am going to need to hire an attorney to sort this out. Save yourself the headache and do not rent!!
