There was no blanket on the bed upon arrival, but the manager corrected the issue age bringing it to their attention.

Liked: Location
Our stay in the B flat had positives and negatives. The good things were the following: it is a cool house which has been converted into seven separate places, it has a lot of parking, the price was great, the bed was very comfortable and it is within walking distance to the C Street area. The things I wish had been different were: the front door code had been changed but not communicated to us and it was 30 minutes before the host called me back, there was barely any toilet paper and no spares anywhere( but the host did come over and bring us several rolls), the couch and bedroom comforter had many stains on them which gave the place a dirty feel and a vent is connect to the bedroom and bathroom so everything in one room can be heard in the other. I will say that the host was very friendly! My husband was outside when he came to bring the toilet paper and they visited for a long time. He asked if we needed anything else and told him about restaurants and shops we should visit in the C Street area.
This sweet, updated older home is cozy and so well-built that we never heard the other tenants at all. It’s in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful mature trees. Apartment is furnished with everything we needed, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Jonathan is always a pleasure to work with and extremely responsive to all inquiries.

I'm a real estate broker, property manager, and remodeler. I grew up in Thailand as a missionary kid, moved to Springfield to attend Evangel University, got married and put down roots. We love Central Assembly, about 2 minutes from Jefferson, and encourage you to check out it if you're in town on a Sunday. Good chance you'll see me in the choir! www.centralassembly.org
Why they chose this property
Just a few steps from the revitalized downtown Commercial Street, the original Commercial district for Springfield North. Lots of great places in this historic neighborhood. www.historiccstreet.com
What makes this property unique
Built in 1896, this property was completely renovated and opened its doors in 2000 with unique apartments. The building itself retains the original footprint, including the traditional front porch, the original 7' front door and the original staircase in the common area while the apartments themselves are modern and updated. Used "fancy" trim and 5-panel doors as a throwback to an older time.
