Our group was a four-generation family reunion, and the property was perfect for that. (It was also be a great venue for a destination wedding.) Large, modern, well-furnished and well-maintained vacation home with multiple bedrooms and enormous kitchen, dining room and other common areas. The home sits on in a very private wooded setting on the shore of Lake Huron, with both sunrise and sunset views. You can wake to the lapping of the water on the beach and the cries of visiting loons, eagles, and many other species of birds. Despite its privacy, the property offers easy access via U.S. Route 23 to downtown Cheboygan (about 13 mile west), Mackinaw City, the Mackinac Bridge, the U.P., and more distant points like Alpena and Petoskey, and downstate (most of our guests flew in through Detroit Metro Airport). Our host, Shannon, was friendly and accommodating. Ask him about his other business interests. He and his sons have a fascinating life.
