Had to clean before we could stay. Old food in microwave, ktchen sink clogged. Inexpensive bed frame collapsed, grass hadnt been mowed in weeks, toilet on 15 degree tilt, front storm door glass coming out, dirty carpet. Reported all this to the host. Reply was "thanks for the input", but received no compensation. Would not recommend

Grass gets mowed weekly. It’s called rain. Guests took apart the bed frame and left it in the corner. I was informed after the week long stay. Guests did not set trash out for trash day as stated in the handbook causing an overflow for current guest. Guests went back through all reviews to find one from the very beginning that wasn’t even relevant then to turn in to Vrbo. Guests stated they were going to leave but never did. Clearly it wasn’t that bad. They stayed their entire week.

Nice area easy to get around. Upstairs bedrooms were warm needed a window unit. Back yard was nice, but needed to be mowed. I thought it stated 3 bathrooms only had 1.5 bathrooms unless you count the shower in the basement. The refrigerator needed to be cleaned inside was dirty. I would stay here again. Provided coffee.

The host communicated well with us and very pleasant to work with! The house is older so having some flaws is expected. We made memories with our friends and our dogs (absolutely love that it is pet friendly with no extra fees!). Very easy to get to and the sunroom would have been a great place to hang out if it wasn’t raining.

Host was very responsive. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the property was decorated for the holiday. House was clean and well maintained. Lots of seating and kitchen was stocked for basic cooking needs. The yard is small but the fence is complete and secure so it was an excellent space for our dog to zoom around.

Really expected more from the pictures & reviews. The most accurate review was the 4/10. The property was overall dirty. The microwave handle was broken & the other place to open it was sticky. The floors looked like they hadn't been properly cleaned in a long time & several spots were extremely sloped. The linens didn't smell fresh. There was animal hair on the couches & exposed nails on one of the arms. The steps to upstairs were dangerous, one step was broken & the light at the top of them did not work making them dark & hard to see. The bed in the master bedroom was broken & sunken. The bed in one of the upstairs rooms was basically sitting on the floor. The inside doors leading to the sunroom did not lock, only the screen door. There was a thorny plant & yard waste covering the walkway in the backyard. My shirt was torn as I don't see well & ran into it. It was then mowed while we slept. The door leading from the sunroom to outside had torn screens with large gaps & while we slept someone put a pooper scooper through the openings. The thought was nice but not appropriate without notice. The basement where the lone shower was located was off-putting & a bit creepy. The steps to the basement were very uneven. The couch in the basement looked like someone had just got up & left. The only positive is that pets were allowed to stay. The charm of the older home was overshadowed by the lack of upkeep. We left a day early because it was too much.

We are pretty easy to please people, but we were disappointed by this property, especially the cleanliness. It was extremely dirty with hair everywhere, including a giant hairball set on top of the shower. There were only two towels and one washcloth that appeared to have been leftover from the prior occupant. There were clothes from prior occupants as well.
