Tranquil Personal Residence - Great Boise Location

Whether you are here to explore, work, or pass through, you will have easy access to just about everything Boise has to offer. Finely decorated, yet comfy and casual, the home is ideal for the discerning traveler who enjoys more space, an elevated environment, and true comfort.

NOTE: this is my personal home I rent when I travel. You have full use of the kitchen, living/dining rooms, guest room and bath, and outdoor areas - weather permitting.

Areas not included: of my office, bedroom/suite, behind closed/locked doors, personal belongings/supplies, area past curtains in hallway and back of kitchen, and garage.

ENTRY: You will be provided with a code to the smart lock to the front door.

STORAGE/RECREATIONAL EQUIPMENT: Please do not store bikes or other outdoor equipment inside my home. There is space in the fenced back yard where you can lock your items. I am not responsible for stolen goods (I have always felt safe here) and suggest you make arrangements for valuables.

PARKING:
-Park in front of my home/walkway.

- Do not park in front of my neighbors' homes (we like to keep them STR-friendly) or my mail box.

-Do not park in the wrong direction (against traffic).

I do my best to accommodate same day reservations but, when traveling, I may be in a different time zone and may not see your request in time.

Late night arrivals are perfectly fine - a smart lock is provided.

IMPORTANT - This is my personal home I rent when I travel. But…

It is set up to feel like a whole home rental and you will hardly notice that this is someone’s personal residence (see photos).

I completed a full renovation in 2022 so everything is still fairly new. My passion is interior design and I have hand-selected every piece of furniture and accessory for a luxury but casual feel.

My home is close to just about anything you could ask for – the river, greenbelt, foothills, parks, shopping, restaurants, hospitals, coffee shops, Boise AND Eagle, and is very accessible from the freeway.

Situated on a corner lot in a modest, established neighborhood you will see some pride of ownership and some that could use a little TLC. This is not a meticulously kept suburb ruled by HOAs. However, the location for those passing through or wanting to be close to everything can’t be beat!

French doors on the north and south sides of the home create a wonderful outdoor living feel, cross breezes during warmer months, and allow natural light to flood the home throughout the day. If you are working remotely, the dining table is a lovely spot.

The guest room has a slightly vaulted ceiling that gives it a cozy, bungalow feel. Many guests have complimented the comfort of the bed and linens, as well as how quiet the neighborhood is. There are black-out curtains so you can get some really good shut-eye.

Steps from the guest room, you will enjoy a fully remodeled, private bathroom, with a deeper than average tub (even tall people fit) and a handheld showerhead with great water pressure.

You'll absolutely love the fully stocked kitchen and extra-large island for you to prepare meals and visit with your travel companion. Coffee, tea, spices and a wide variety of cooking utensils and tools are provided.

The living room is super comfy with a large sectional sofa, electric fireplace, and 53" flat screen with Roku for you to connect to your Netflix, Hulu, or other streaming channels.

Weather permitting, the back yard is very comfortable with outdoor seating and string lighting that make for a great place to read or enjoy an aperitif. The enclosed front patio with a dining table is lovely for morning coffee and evening meals. (Outdoor furniture is set up late April/mid May through September).

I am conscientious of who I rent to for my own safety, hence some of the requests and rules which are more like conditions that allow me to open my home to guests who I know will treat it with care.
I have been hosting for over ten years and have had the pleasure of providing a comfy place for people from all over the world.
