Our home is a New Condo in a gated community with a Beach-Themed Decor.
Located conveniently on Route 1 in Wells, Maine, this newly
constructed, ocean view beach retreat is the perfect spot to create your family’s memorable beach vacation.
Loaded with modern amenities, this home-away-from-home is just one mile from
beautiful Wells Beach. Watch the sunrise or stroll the beach in the moonlight as you escape to your beach getaway. Walk to famous restaurants such as Mike’s Clam
Shack and The Steakhouse, as well as Congdon’s Doughnuts. Bike or drive within minutes to the local grocery store, liquor store, clothing stores, antique shops and other wonderful Wells attractions. Take a quick, safe, trolley ride (in season) to miniature golf, movie
theater, arcade, Ogunquit, Kennebunkport or beaches. A short ride on Route 1 South takes you to the eclectic shops of Ogunquit, the Marginal Way, Playhouse, and many great restaurants. York Beach, York Zoo, and Nubble lighthouse are just a little further
down Route 1. Just a few minutes north of Wells, Kennebunkport’s harborside shops
and restaurants are not to be missed. Just off I-95, the outlet shops of Kittery are a half hour south, and Freeport shops including L.L. Bean are about an hour north. The
dynamic city of Portland is 45 minutes north with many exciting places to tour, eat and shop!
Master bedroom has queen size sleigh bed, plush bedding, and tempurpedic mattress that provides the ultimate in comfort. Second bedroom has two twin tempurpedic beds
that can be easily pushed together for a king-size, or separated to accommodate children.
Both bedrooms have room darkening window treatments. Sunroom, also with room darkening option, has queen-size sleeper sofa that is surprisingly comfortable.
Each bedroom has flat-screen TV with cable and large closet space. Sunroom has 42' HD flat screen with digital cable and DVD player. Ceiling fans throughout (andCentral
Air).
Start each day with a delicious cup of coffee or tea from the Keurig coffee maker.
Cooktop stove, microwave, dishwasher, and full-size refrigerator/freezer with ice-maker,
give you the conveniences of home.
In-home washer and dryer let you avoid leaving
vacation with a mountain of laundry.
Wireless internet , iPod dock with CD Player and charging station, board games for the whole family, and two DVD players provide tons of options for entertainment without
even leaving the comfort of this retreat.

Perfect summer get away❤️

Everything was wonderful!! The furnishings and decorations were beautiful, , the beds were comfortable, the pool was fabulous,! Walking distance to great restaurants and activities and the trolley line. Owners were very nice. Would definitely stay here again!!

Wonderful Vacation Get-a-way

Everything about our stay was terrific. The condo was lovely - bright and cheerful. Wi-Fi was excellent. Having picnic table to eat outside was a plus. People were very friendly. We were close to everything - shopping, mini golf, restaurants and the beach. Trolley was convenient and we were down to beach every morning for a long walk. Portland was an easy day trip. Overall, one of our favorite beach get-a-ways. We hope we will return.

Perfect for a Family!

This condo was the absolutely perfect place for our family's vacation. It is close to everything and has so many amenities that sometimes it was hard to get the kids to go to the beach! On days when it was cold at the shore, it was perfect pool weather and we were able to relax and enjoy the well-maintained pool area. The condo is family-friendly and equipped with everything you could possibly need. There was plenty of space for our family of 5. We were able to enjoy Wells and all of the surrounding areas from the ideal location. We are looking forward to returning in the future!

Fantastic place to stay and convenient

We loved our stay at this property. The owners were very friendly and great with communication. The property was clean. It was a little tight for our family of 5 (sharing a bathroom is sometimes hard) but we knew that going into our trip. Loved the access to the pool and clubhouse. Our kids loved playing pool and ping pong every day. Very close and convenient to everything in Wells. We went to several local beaches (York, Drakes Island, Gooch's, and Old Orchard) to get a feel for the different areas. Each one was awesome in it's own way. Perfect weather all week. Would recommend staying at this condon anytime.

Vacation in Wells Maine at Barefoot Cottage

Very nice comfortable clean cottage. The beds were very comfortable modern appliances with washer and dryer . Owners were extremely helpful and answered all of my questions. We have been coming to Wells for many years and this was by far the best rental we have had . I would highly recommend Barefoot Cottage and we will definitively rent there on our next trip to Wells. Location excellent near many nice restaurants, beautiful beaches, shopping and other attractions. Thank you to the owners for making our vacation special.

Great condo & location in Wells!

New and clean condo in central Wells location... easy walk to Congdon’s Donuts and food truck park, and easy access to Wells Beach. Community pool, ping pong, and pool table are great for the kids, too.

Lovely condo cottage

We had an amazing time! This cottage is well equipped, beautifully decorated and in a great location. We felt right at home instantly. The owners clearly take pride in their home away from home. The owners are easy to get in touch with, should the need arise. I was under the weather so stayed in the first day there, and it was great to have such a nice living room to relax and watch tv in. The layout is so functional and well thought out, so you never feel cramped. There was plenty of space for us and our six year old. We split our time between the beach and the pool. The pool is warm and everyone we encountered were friendly. Highly recommend :-)

Beautiful Place!!!

Cozy and very clean cottage in the heart of Wells. Beautifully decorated with all the amenities you will need for a relaxing stay. Location is great with many restaurants and shops within walking distance. Proximity to the beach and to Ogunquit and Kennebunk was a big plus for us. Jayne and Paul were very attentive owners, and easy to work with. We had the opportunity to meet them on our last day, and they were truly welcoming.We look forward to renting their cottage again in the future. Thank you for a a great stay and renting your place to us!

Wonderful condo!

We had a wonderful stay in Wells and felt right at home at the beautifully decorated condo! The kids loved the club house and pool! The condo has all the conveniences of home! I wish I had booked for longer! I highly recommend it! The location is perfect! Walking distance to the grocery store and restaurants as well as the trolley to the beach!

The place to stay in Wells !

Wonderful condo, beatifully decorated, with all one could ask for ! Very clean and well maintained. Wi-Fi worked great. I highly recommend this condo. Very well situated and close to everything. The owner Jayne is a wonderful to deal with and is ever so accommodating. Would definetly stay here again !!!

Wonderful stay

From start to finish this was a fantastic experience. The check in process was very easy and Jayne the owner was a delight to work with. The unit is decorated and equipped very tastefully and we felt right at home upon arrival. We are a family of five with teens and it was plenty big enough to accommodate us but the proximity to everything allowed for limited time in the actual unit. We walked to great breakfast and dinner locations, mini golf and the grocery store. The unit is near the pool but not so close as to hear any noise from it. The grounds are very clean and everyone we met was friendly. Every year we rent a place at the beach and this one makes the top of our list!
