Property was exactly as described. Very clean!! Easy walk to beach. The kids loved being able to walk down the deck and play in the sand. The beach chair and umbrella rentals at the beach were so easy and convenient. Pools were nice and clean. We had a great stay!

Great space and excellent location!

My family and I had a great stay. The location could not have been any better, the beach was never crowded and the amenities were perfect. Having the beach rental chairs worked into the price was a huge benefit. Only recommendation is to get a curtain installed in the guest room as opposed to just the blinds. It wasn’t an issue most mornings due to cloud cover but the sunny mornings lit up the room by 7am. Nonetheless, 10/10 will be booking again!

Great experience! Don’t leave reviews often but we had an amazing time and a big reason was the location. Gated area and walking distance to the beach! Steps from back porch land right on the sand! My 9 year old counted 211 steps to the water. Place was cozy, convenient and comfortable for the family. Thank you! We'll be back.

Breath of Heaven

I paid for this because I wasn’t sure my bayside spot was secured. It was, so now I had two spots. The place was gorgeous. I loved the wall decor in every room, even took photos of some. I met some nice ladies who also were staying there. Sadly, the weather did not cooperate, with double red flags and lightening. But it really was a great and very quiet getaway.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When I reserved this property 1137 I was told this was a beach front view upon arrival I found out it was only a beach view. I have been going to Sandpiper Cove since 1996 and always have enjoyed the property and my stay and will continue to return but was very disappointed in my reservation location especially in the amount of money I paid for this property it was the highest I have ever paid

The kitchen was stocked well except there were no hot pads or gloves to take items out of the oven. The ceiling fan was not working when we arrived but in less than 30 minutes they had someone out to fix it. Unfortunately Rick's on the beach did not serve food our entire stay but that doesn't affect the condo. We would definitely stay there again.

They were all clean, very well prepared, and the customer service and management was excellent. This Unit, 1137, was the best of all. Like the others, it was well furnished and acomodating. The add'l perks were the kitchen island, that made it easy for larger gatherings, and the deck, which seemed to be newly refurbished, including wide steps with a nice hose and nozzle for sand control. Beautiful Unit.

Great place

I've known and visited this property for over 30 years. The exterior finishes of some buildings do look a bit weathered and do reflect an older property, but I've always had a great experience staying at Sandpiper Cove. Best all around value on the beaches of Destin.

I would absolutely recommend this resort. The beach was beautiful and clean. Having beach service with 1137 was fantastic. The unit itself could use a decent deep clean but overall was clean enough (we found a few stray hairs in the bathroom) and well decorated/renovated. The deck is amazing and has high quality patio furniture which we appreciated. The unit location was the best part! It's right next to the beach access and small beach restaurant, quick walk across the street to the big pool and walking distance to Louisiana Lagniappe restaurant (which is amazing as well but pricey). We preferred the smaller pool to the right of the office, it is heated and was a little cleaner/clearer than the big pool.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was beautifully decorated however the bathtub was clogged when we arrived, and the air conditioner was not working. Found hair left in bathtub and sink from previous renter. Considering the large cleaning fee I was very disappointed. The staff at Sandpiper Cove did respond appropriately to fix both the bathtub and air conditioner. It was conveniently located close to the beach and the beach was beautiful.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first winter in this condo and I was very happy we picked it. I have seen other recently renovated condos and thought that they needed to be done again. Not this. Beautifully decorated in a beach house theme( who would have thought). The only issue we had was a very slow draining tub and call to the office and it was fixed Pronto. Sturdy deck furniture, not cheap plastic ****. Solid roof with ceiling fans over the deck so you can enjoy the deck even in rainy weather. I only need a one bedroom so we probably won't stay here again but I would highly recommend it.
