Full of natural light yet blissfully shaded by the surrounding trees, this cute home sits only a block from the open sand of Folly Beach. Take daily strolls to go swimming, boogie boarding, and sunbathing, and enjoy the convenience of being only a mile from Center Street's restaurants, boutiques, and bustling nightlife.



As you walk home from the beach each afternoon, you'll be greeted by lovely outdoor spaces that include a grassy lawn, a front deck with a gas grill, and a fenced back patio and garden where you can sip cold glasses of sweet tea beneath a canopy of trees. Inside, the single-level living space is cooled by central air conditioning, with high-speed WiFi and a private washer/dryer only adding to the at-home comforts. The open kitchen is at the front of the house, offering generous floor space, stainless steel appliances, and stylish open shelving. Just beyond the kitchen are a spacious dining room table, a living room where you can watch nightly movies on the flatscreen cable TV, and a window-lined sunroom that leads outside to the back patio and garden.

Wonderful time at the Hideaway. It met all of our needs and was an easy walk to the beach. the kitchen was well appointed and the space allowed for lots of R & R. It was easy to access at check-in and the team was very responsive to our questions.

Great house and location

Great location to restaurants and walking distance to the beach. The house was spacious and super clean. The bed was also very comfortable in the master bedroom. The master shower was not ideal as it was a claw foot tub and slippery and the shower curtain was too close and stuck to you. But there are two bathrooms so our son shared with us.

The Hideaway

The Hideaway was a great little place. Ideal for just my wife and me. Everything has been updated and worked. Only a couple of minutes to the beach. We will stay again.

Beautiful, comfortable property

The remodeled house was beautiful, surprisingly spacious and light filled. Nice amenities. Met the property owners, right after the hurricane and they were cleaning up. Great people. Will come back again.

Quiet bungalow near beach

Pluses: The house was clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen is modern. The beach was a short walk away. Area is quiet. Couch is comfortable! Minuses: The mattresses are uncomfortable-our backs hurt all week. Very buggy -couldn’t use patio or garden (which was overgrown). Asked not to put AC below 72, which is restrictive when it’s over 90 outside, esp. for sleeping. An agency, Vacasa, manages the property, and they responded to texts, but their info didn’t match the property. Eg. They gave us conflicting info on parking; they instructed us to use a lockbox and a key, but the door has a keypad on it; the outdoor trash bin is kept by the neighbor’s garage—no instructions on that. Minor annoyances, but wish we had known ahead of time!
