We totally enjoyed our stay at this property. The quiet wooded setting in Girdwood is spacious and well equipped for a comfortable stay. The amazing views of the mountain and ski area from all the seating areas make it a vacation to remember. Highly recommend this property.

Wonderful views

We totally enjoyed our stay at this lovely property. The home is spacious, well stocked and in a quiet area. The views of the mountain and ski area are amazing from the living areas. We highly recommend this property and the village of Girdwood.

Great property and close to town

This was the perfect place for our weekend in Girdwood. The property was the perfect size for my 3 person family. We enjoyed the living rooms and the views of the mountain. The kitchen was well equipped for us to enjoy a few meals, but most of all we loved the close proximity to the Alyeska resort and the local restaurants. The house was clean and instructions were easy to understand. We were also able to do some laundry and return home with clean clothes. We will definitely want to stay here again!

Cabin rental near Alyeska

The cabin was in a great location. We enjoyed being close to hiking and other activities in the Girdwood area; however, the cabin could use some updates to improve the stay. The windows allowed for views of the mountains but also allowed for all of the neighbors to see into the home. This would not have been an issue, but some of the blinds were missing or did not work properly. This provided very limited privacy. The hot tub was nice but not filled up quite high enough and again very limited privacy when using. The upstairs bedroom had a gas stove that would have been nice to use for extra heat except it did not work and there were no directions for turning it on. The small heater downstairs constantly beeped (I believe because it had a red light on showing the filter needed to be changed). The cabin was clean inside, but the upstairs deck/balcony had bird seed everywhere and this prevented any use by guests. We attempted to contact the guest manager on a couple of occasions as well as the rental company (Evolve vacation rentals) regarding concerns but never heard anything from them. The cabin could be a wonderful little rental but clearly there are some minor things that need to be done to improve the experience for guests.

Perfect spot!

What a cute cottage! The windows look out at the spectacular view of Alyeska Mountain! Inside it warm, cozy and has EVERYTHING you need. Loved it!

Great place to stay!

Very easy process to rent this beautiful place. We got in late and we were able to just walk up and open the door with the code and enjoy the place. Great views, comfortable place to just hang out and great location to just stay there or visit different places not fare off. The place was very clean and perfect for us.

Excellent, clean, easy to get to

Girdwood has a local shuttle to get around town with a stop 2 blocks from rental, yet when we arrived on the train at 9:30pm, they drove us right to the door! Great benefit for the town, we used it many times in our 2 days staying. It is donation based so easy! The rental was great as well!

Perfect Location

We stayed at this house for our honeymoon and Girdwood and this house was the perfect location. We loved that it was in a secluded culdasac right by the creek. We saw a black bear in the front yard tearing down a bird house which was great to see that so upclose. The house was equipped with everything we needed. Different animals and birds were out and about. It was such a pretty location. They recently updated some of the inside from when we booked and it looks great. We used the electric fireplace upstairs and even used the downstairs heater which both worked great. Overall the house was great and would stay here again. Suggestions: The weather fluctuated from cold to hot so the house did get a little too warm once the temperature outside got above 70 degrees. I would suggest getting a couple backup fans for upstairs and downstairs. We could not use the hot tub because there were so many mosquitos so I would look into getting something to fully cover it in the summertime. We were so bummed we could not use the hot tub because that was one of the reasons we booked the house. I would also suggest adding some decor or items downstairs to livin up that area and make it feel more homey because it felt a little dark and cold with the dark wall, dark couches , dark table and dark flooring.

Great spot in Girdwood!

Absolutely great place to stay in Girdwood. Close to the restaurants and stuff in the main drag and the ski resort but isolated enough that it was quiet. House is well equipped and the bed was comfortable. The only thing that might not be for everyone is that the main living area with the TV is inside the main bedroom, but not an issue for my wife and I. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Excellent Stay!

We really enjoyed our time in Girdwood and this house was perfect! Location was great we could walk to a few shops and brewery. Ski resort and great hiking was a short car ride. Everything at the house was wonderful. Very clean and the items there were thoughtful. I had a question and the owner was quick to respond. Highly recommend!

Cute place to stay!

This is my second time staying at this place and I just want to note, Highly recommend it. The place is cute and always clean. They accommodate very well for my stay in Girdwood. The hot tub is also a plus. If you're looking for a peace of mind whether you are riding at Alyeska or just looking for a place to get away, this place is great! Also, check-in/check-out is super easy and access to the town is just round the corner! Definitely be staying there again!

Nothing short of perfect!

We stay here all the time, this place is the perfect Alaskan cabin getaway with all the comforts of the lower 48! The owners are fantastic, the cabin is in an ideal location w/ walk ability to restaurants, Alyeska & The Grocery Store. Views are unbeatable & I sleep like a baby there! You’re missing out if you don’t rent this place!

Absolutely stunning!

Pictures don’t do justice for how cute this place it! They updated all the furniture from the pictures as well but the place was completely stocked with pillows, blankets, and every kitchen utensil you needed! Also, I left a few things behind and the owner let me know right away and worked out a way for me to get it back!! The view from the second floor (and even the hot tub) was spectacular and the place was super clean! Definitely recommended for your stay in Girdwood!

Ideal space/location!

This charming & functional home had ample space, was well appointed& stocked with everything you could think of! Location is perfect, looks at Mt. Alyeska, walked to Alyeska resort & Jack Spratt easily, mercantile right around the bend. Beds & furniture all comfortable & newer. Hot tub clean & in great condition. Massive TVs with electric fireplaces. This is a must visit if you’re coming to Girdwood! Oh... and the hosts were helpful & responsive!

Anniversary Get Away

Great property and great manager very responsive. Jacuzzi clean, working, infra red sauna upstairs was pretty neat as well. large bedroom suite. Fully stocked kitchen with espresso maker. We will be reserving again for our next stay-cay.
