This chalet-style log home is sitting high on over two acres of wooded lot. It has more than 3000sf of living space and approximately 1000sf of outdoor deck area all at a single level overlooking the upper Ruidoso valley and Sierra Blanca. The home is elegantly furnished with large windows in every room to enjoy the beautiful views and wildlife. The modern kitchen is fully equipped and includes granite counter-tops and stainless steel appliances. There are 3 bedrooms with King size beds and the large game room with a pool table serves as a 4th bedroom with 4 twin beds in in a built-in bunk bed configuration. The Great Room is truly great with high vaulted ceilings with a giant log at its peak supported by a rock fireplace that is surrounded by 3 tiers of windows. Adjacent to the great room is a sunroom that is encased with windows that face Sierra Blanca. This room includes a sitting area to relax and enjoy the view and a day bed with trundle to provide 2 more twin beds for extra sleeping accommodations. The large deck has plenty of seating for viewing and dining and the stairs lead down to the Hot Tub where you can soak and relax while gazing at the stars at night after a day of skiing, hiking, or simply walking while shopping in Midtown. The backyard area has 4 baskets so you can enjoy the outdoors while playing Frisbee golf or if you prefer virtual competition there are 3 big screen TVs with built-in WiFi and HDMI inputs so you can connect your gaming stations or watch Netflix. Great Family Home

We rented this 5 years ago and we had the same wonderful experience this year. It’s a great home with all the amenities you could ask for. Lots of room for the grandkids and the room with the pool table and 4 bunk beds was a hit! Thank you to the owners for making this a wonderful experience for our family!

Such a cozy house!

Daniel was so accommodating from the moment we arrived. I got locked out of my VRBO and couldn’t get my password recovered so we reached out to him and he answered right away and made sure we got in the house. Everything was super clean. Such a fun property to stay at. Highly recommend!

Photos Do Not Do It Justice

The home is beautiful - the listing photos do not do it justice - and the neighborhood is sublime. We took our grown children (20-something’s) and had the best time playing disc golf, foosball, and pool. We would stay in this home again in a heartbeat!

Vacation with family

The home was better than we expected. There were 9 of us and there was plenty of space in the rooms and even with 2.5 bathrooms we had no problems. Kitchen table held all of us for game night and living room was spacious and configured nicely around fireplace, windows and tv. Hot tub nice and clean. They even had a Christmas tree set up which was a treat to greet us on arrival. Only things that could of been better was there were only a few trash bags and not enough toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap or dishwasher liquid so we had to purchase those items after the 2nd day. We could of brought it with us if we’d known there were minimal supplies.

Great weekend getaway to escape the Texas heat. Lovely, welcoming home! Enjoyed coffee on the wrap around deck with great views of the mountains. Deer, elk, turkey and wild horses visited every evening! Hosts were great communicators. Thanks for a lovely weekend!
