An early 1800 hundreds authentic hand-hewn log cabin nestled in the woods, at the base of Peters Mountain,in a lovely country setting. Located on approximately eight acres of private property with a cool mountain stream running through,come and enjoy the beauty of Monroe county WV, The cabin is fully furnished with a large bedroom that has two full size beds, with a queen sleeper sofa in living room, one bath, gas grill outside, fire pit, go Antiquing in Lewisburg WV only 22 miles away, go caving Organ Cave only 18 miles away, Hanging Rock Raptor Observatory on Peter's Mountain 6 miles away, Allegheny Trail and the Appalachain Trail both follow the crest of Peter's Mountain,near Greenbrier Hotel Resort, Union historic district, great for weekend getaway or a week stay.

What makes this property unique

A rural mountain setting, the cabin the cool flowing stream and the unique flora in all of our seasons. Keep in mind we are a four season retreat,the property is abundant with wildlife,deer,wild turkey and occasional black bear.Peters Mountain is known for its unique phenomenon one of only two mountains in the world, 'Natures Greatest Noises',a tremendous thundering roar!
