Hello Maria. hope you and your beautiful family are doing well.
Thank you very much for your beautiful review.
Thank you for leaving such a clean house.
We hope to see you again soon.

Yes the national park was close. We also had access to multiple fishing spots going there as well as Fenton Lake. All the rooms were clean and ready for use. The kitchen had everything we needed. My wife and friends enjoyed the Hot springs down the road, we visited a winery in the area and of course bought the wines from Ponderosa Winery. We were all surprised to find the lower level. We did not discern the rooms in the photos were a downstairs area.

Hi Donell, thanks for your review! This homeowner has asked us to pass along the following response: "Thank you for staying with us. Hope to see you back."
Our trip was family getaway for a memorial service, and this was just what we needed. River access was great, and it was lovely having breakfast/coffee outside. We loved the large patio and the fun things the house had to offer: ping pong, games and movie screen. Any questions were quickly answered. Close to the village yet felt pretty private. I would recommend - thank you!
The house was a great base for our getaway. The owner of the property was more than helpful and a great host.

Well maintained, clean, cozy, quiet, and a short drive to town. The river runs just behind a block fence in the backyard. The river can be heard while sitting on the elevated back deck. This property is a great place to stay!

Well appointed 3 bedroom, 2 bath house just north of the Jemez historical site. 20 mintutes from great hiking at Fenton Lake or the Caldera area. As well as the picturesque area at Red Rocks.
The house was clean and well stocked with enough room to spread out. Location was close to town. The kids enjoyed the creek and we had a lot fun here. The host was great and reached out to see if we needed anything. Would recommend.

Great Family Time
We had a wonderful stay at Mom's Place. It started when we pulled up and saw the beautiful garden with the magnificent colors out front. We enjoyed the house with all its room, and the backyard and deck. What a great place to have the morning coffee and just sit and watch the mountains! The game room was a big hit with our grandchildren. Miros was wonderful to work with and very accommodating. We will stay here again if we make it back to Jemez Springs.

Hello Carol. I'm so glad you and your family enjoyed your stay.
Thank you for your great review. Hope to see you back. Miros
Mom’s place is in a perfect location - you can hear the river running out back, and you can walk to the hot springs and local restaurants. The house has everything you could ask for, and the managers promptly answer all questions. Yes, the neighboring properties aren’t pristine, but this is a real community in New Mexico - the natural beauty of the area outshines it all! We loved our stay.

Great Accommodation
The place and the proprietor make this the kind of vacation rental that we all hope for when booking online. As with ALL these types of online bookings the layered fees have gotten so out of hand...especially for guests that make the effort to keep a place clean and leave it so. But Mom's Place is reasonable if you book well in advance. Thank you host Miro for the communications that surrounded our stay.

Miros is a great host, with awesome personal touches and great communication we’d definitely stay again. We enjoyed playing ping pong, and watching movies on the projector. Only word of caution, there are not many places to eat, 2 of the restaurants are closed on both Tuesday and Wednesday which left us with only one place to eat. But the house has a well stocked kitchen if you grab some groceries before arriving.
The home is very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location was just far enough off the road and right along the river with river access. The views from the porch are very nice. The center of town was about a mile away.
There is not a grocery store nearby, so bring any groceries you want. The kitchen is well equipped and had some basics like spices and oil when we were there.
Plenty of room for 6. We would love to stay again sometime.
This property felt like a second home. It was nicely decorated inside and out. My girls loved playing downstairs in the game room. The river access was nice to have, but be sure to bring some water shoes for the rocks in the river. The house was so conveniently located to the sites we visited including Jemez falls and the Las Conchas trailhead for some lovely scenic hikes about 20 minutes by car. We would definitely rent this house again. Miros is a pleasure to work with. We had a wonderful time and appreciate all the thoughtfulness she put into the house.

Hi Timothy, the owners wanted to share the following: "Thank you for being such great guests. You left the house so clean, everything was in place. We do appreciate that very much. You are a delightful family. Thank you for staying with us. We look forward to hearing from you soon."
Everything about this place is exactly as advertised. The house and property are larger than we expected. There is a wall around the back yard. Nice.
Miros is an Angel and wanted our stay to be perfect. We had a bottle of Prosecco and wine glasses waiting for us for our anniversary.
We didn’t spend a lot of time in the house because there was so much to do in the area and the house is in the center of it all.

From the owner: "Thank you so much for your kind review! You are such a wonderful couple! It will be our pleasure to have you back!"
This place was perfect for us. We wanted a place away from the city and big enough for the whole family. Place was clean and we'll maintained. There was a game room down stairs stocked with movies and games to keep us all entertained. The view of the mountains was just breathtaking. We enjoyed sitting out in the back porch. There is a cute town about quarter mile down the road with small restaurant and shops. Wish we had more time to enjoy all there is to do there.
Communication was great. We had all instructions on how to enter the morning of our arrival. Definitely would recommend this place.
The view from the front and back was beautiful. The town and the locals were nice, and a lot of good food for its size. The place is really close to many state and national parks. The house had issues. The beds were not comfortable. The plastic mattresses covers made them noisy and hard to sleep. Limited linens, one bath towel per person and there were extra pillows but no pillow cases. It may be due to the rain, but there were mice in the house and running around the stove and counters. The host was very responsive before the trip, but when I texted her about the mice, she took 4 hours to respond (9am to 1 pm). The note that says "This property is in a rural location and the neighbor has some farm animals which can be heard from the property" means that there is a rooster about 50 ft from the house and crows at 6 am.

From the owner: We appreciate you sharing your feedback. We are happy that you enjoyed the views, the community, and the location. We'd like to address your concerns. - The mattress protectors are for the safety of our guests. We're sorry that you felt they were uncomfortable. - We provide our guests with a body and face towel per guest, but we have extras in the laundry room if needed. - There are 2 extra pillows per room, and if you prefer one of the pillows that is not covered, most people just swap the case to use that pillow. All of the 4 main pillows have pillowcase covers. - Regarding the mice, perhaps a door was left open. We have checked and found no evidence of mice; we even moved the appliances. - We're sorry that it took a while to reply to your message. We were out, and as soon as we saw the message, we replied. We wish you had reached out with your questions so that we could rectify the issues while you were at the property. - Our neighbors are farmers, and we give our guests that information before they book, but we have no control over the rooster who doesn't like to sleep in.We strive to deliver 5-star experiences for all our guests and have had many guests who have enjoyed our home and shared kind words and positive reviews.
Mom’s Place has everything you need to relax inside or outside after a day of fishing in the Jemez-area lakes and rivers. Convenient location to check out the Jemez area.
