Zero effort was exerted to prepare this property for visitors, it was in a very neglected filthy state. We had visitors drop by on Saturday and I was embarrassed that they had to walk into the house through the entrance. The interior of the house was in the same neglected, filthy state. We purchased cleaning supplies and spent 4 hours cleaning the house. The floors were very dirty, and we purchased a Swiffer and cleaned the floors thoroughly. Just out of curiosity, we moved the couch and you can see that the house wasn't being maintainedThe floor in the Master Bathroom was the worst of all. When we walked on the floor our shoes would stick to the floor. There was no way that I, my wife, or any of our family members were going to walk on these floors barefoot. The most mortifying moment of the trip was when we stripped the bed in the Master Bedroom and saw the condition of the mattress we slept on for two nights. The mattress was soiled and there was a blood stain. My wife almost fainted and is still processing that image and the possible ramifications of the unsanitary situation.Other than the toilets being clean, the house was in an unsanitary, neglected condition. Bathtubs included. We scrubbed those, as well. The living room furniture looked like discarded furniture that somebody was throwing away. There were built-up dust, dead bugs and cobwebs/spiders on all the walls.
