The home is very run down and so sad to see as it could be absolutely charming. Definitely overpriced and I was disappointed overall. Furniture is in keeping with the period but highly uncomfortable to relax on. Bedrooms are layed out consecutively- you have to walk through bedrooms 1&2 to reach bedroom three. Debris/dirt on dishes in the cabinet and coffee cups on the shelf. Felt unclean/unused for sometime. Kitchen sink backed up when tried to wash dishes the first time. Lighting is exceptionally dim in the bedrooms. Area did feel safe and the home is a nice stroll to the antiques fair we wanted to attend.

I was born and raised in St Landry Parish, loving the music, the people and the culture of south Louisiana. In addition I love old houses that need some updating and tender loving care.
