Nous avons retrouvé avec plaisir cet appartement dans lequel nous avions séjourné il y a quelques années. Il demeure inchangé : décoration soignée, propre, avec tout le confort et l'équipement nécessaire. Sa situation (à la fois proche du centre-ville, de la plage et d'un supermarché Carrefour) est des plus appréciables. La présence d'un box fermé est un plus incontestable même s'il y a la possibilité de trouver de la place aux abords de la résidence. Cette dernière est en outre très calme et permet un repos complet. La propriétaire, Mme Vicary, se montre très réactive quant aux messages et M.Leveau nous a très bien accueillis sur place. Nous recommandons vivement cette location pour découvrir la Normandie.

Licht und Schatten

Wir waren 9 Nächte in Nicoles Appartement in Cabourg. Der Empfang war etwas ungewöhnlich. Durch lange Anreise war ein eindeutiger Anreisezeitpunkt nicht anzugeben, wir hatten aber Kontakt per WhatsApp zur Vermieterin bzw. ihrem Beauftragten. Vor Ort wurden wir aber von einer dritten Person empfangen, die Verständigung und Kompetenz war schwierig. Wir konnten aber weitgehend ankommen, hatten noch telefonischen Kontakt mit Nicole.Positiv ist auf jeden Fall der Stellplatz in der Tiefgarage, wenn auch kein fester. Nachteilig haben wir gesehen, dass uns nur ein Schlüssel zur Verfügung stand, das schränkt doch etwas ein.Die Wohnung ist doch weiter von Strand und Innenstadt, sowie von Einkaufsmöglichkeiten entfernt als im Text beschrieben. So haben wir uns viel zu Fuß bewegen dürfen. Die Wohnung selbst ist geräumig, da wir auf einer längeren Frankreichreise unterwegs waren, hatten wir viel Gepäck unterzubringen, das klappte, trotz einiger belegten Flächen in den Schränken. Es war alles vorhanden, allerdings ist die Möblierung des Balkons (der leider sehr stark verschmutzt war) verändert worden, was den Aufenthalt dort erschwerte. Flache Tischchen und ebensolche Stühle ohne Sitzpolster machten das Einnehmen von Mahlzeiten so gut wie unmöglich. Auch das Schlafsofa im Wohnzimmer hatte keinen großen Sitzkomfort, schade.Wir hatten aber trotzdem eine gute Zeit, Cabourg und die Normandie als schön und interessant kennen gelernt. Es lohnt sich dort hinzureisen.

location agreable, un peu loin de la ville malgre tout mais tres au calme ce qui compense l'éloignement de la ville. On ne peut pas tout avoir !! Accueil tres aimable et bienveillant de Mr leveau. Correspond aux photos sauf le balcon ou il n'y a pas de table si L'on veut dejeuner ou diner dehors. Mais ceci n'est qu'un detail

Normandy 2024

Lovely flat in a quiet residential area some 15-20 minutes on foot from the town centre. Secure underground parking below the apartment block and lift access was a bonus. Flat was fully equipped but unusually we had to pay €30 extra for bedding and towels. Hosts were extremely helpful and communicative and provided excellent local information. Cabourg is a great town with much to see and do and there are so many interesting places to visit apart from the D-Day sites which was the primary purpose for our visit. I would recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to stay in this area of Normandy.

Excellent séjour à Cabourg

Très bel appartement lumineux, confortable, dans belle résidence, très propre et très bien équipé. Plage et centre ville facilement accessibles à pied. Voie cyclable devant la résidence. Très bonne communication avec la propriétaire Mme Vicary, fort aimable ainsi qu’avec M. Leveau, opérant la remise des clefs, fort accueillant.

Bei aller Begeisterung über Lage und Ausstattung des Apartments und von anderen Gästen waren wir über die extrem niedrigen Betten und wohl auch durchgelegenen Matratzen enttäuscht: Erst nachdem wir eine Einzelbett-Matratze auf das Queensize-Bett gelegt haben, war für eine Person mit leichten Knieproblemen komfortables Schlafen und Aufstehen vom Bett möglich - bei nun getrenntem Schlafen im Urlaub. Es fehlte uns auch eine Garderobe, die Küchenschränke waren nicht wirklich sauber innen und sehr voll, sodass unsere Küchensachen nur auf der Anrichte Platz fanden, ein einziger deutscher TV-Sender wäre schön gewesen, für lange Beine war das WC zu klein. Schade auch, dass der sehr freundliche Herr Leveau nur französisch spricht.

Problemlose Komunikation und Schlüsselübergabe. In der Wohnung ist alles vorhanden was den Aufenthalt auch bei nicht optimalem Wetter angenehm macht, sehr gute Raumaufteilung. Tiefgarage für den PKW erspart Parkplatzsuche. In die Stadt und an den Strand ca 15 min Fussweg.

Traumhafte Reise in die Normandie

Die Wohnung ist geräumig und bestens ausgestattet. Das Inventar in der Küche ist perfekt, es fehlt an nichts. Die Wohnung ist sehr ruhig gelegen. Morgens hat Sonne auf dem Balkon, sodass die Wohnung abends schön kühl bleibt. Cabourg hat eine wunderschöne Promenade und der Strand ist fussläufig in 15 Minuten erreichbar. Eine perfekte Reise in die Normandie

Séjour parfait à Cabourg

Très bon contact avec la propriétaire à l'avance, qui a répondu à toutes les questions. L'accueil par l'agence a également été impeccable. L'appartement est parfaitement meublé et offre tout le confort, y compris une place de parking dans le parking souterrain. Le complexe résidentiel est très calme hors saison. Le centre-ville avec tous commerces est accessible en 10 à 15 minutes à pied (5 minutes en voiture), et la grande plage se trouve juste derrière. Dans l'ensemble, un grand appartement dans un endroit très calme. Merci de nous avoir permis de passer nos vacances ici.

À nouveau un super séjour !

Avec mon fils nous avions envie de revenir c'est chose faite. Une nouvelle semaine passée 1 an après la première et toujours super bien ! Grand merci à Nicole pour son accueil toujours disponible et charmant. L'appartement toujours aussi propre, calme, agréable, bien équipé et vraiment bien placé. Bien envie de revenir encore. Heerlijke vakantie!

Het appartement is schoon, zeer compleet en goed verzorgd. Ligt op ongeveer 15 minuten lopen van het uitgestrekte strand en 10 minuten van het centrum van Cabourg. Ideale locatie om zowel de invasie-stranden als andere plekken in Normandië te bezoeken. Contact met eigenaar van het appartement is zeer goed (laagdrempelig en snelle reactie). Aanrader!

Betreden complete woning

Zeer net en compleet appartement op een goede lokatie, iets verder van het strand dan we zouden willen, maar wel met Wi-Fi en parkeerplaats en twee slaapkamers dat heel fijn was. Heeft wat klein onderhoud nodig, de stoelen aan tafel zijn wankel, de poten vallen er bijna af en wat lampen zijn aan vervanging toe. De bedden zijn erg laag en de matrassen te dun. Nieuwe dikkere matrassen is geen overbodige luxe. Parkeerplaatsen genoeg maar in de garage erg smal. Geweldige vakantie gehad zeer mooi gebied en prachtige stranden en leuke kustplaatsen, de D-Day stranden en musea ook indrukwekkend met twee jongens. Groetjes Yvonne

Klein, aber fein

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Wohnung ist weder weit vom Zentrum noch vom Strand entfernt und trotzdem sehr ruhig gelegen. Auch die Gastgeberin ist top und hat uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite gestanden inklusive einer Information über den Ort, Ausflugstipps für die Umgebung etc. Wir kommen bestimmt nochmal gerne in diese Ferienwohnung.

Un super séjour !

Un très grand merci à Nicole et Chris pour leur accueil bienveillant ! Un appartement charmant, super calme et extrêmement bien équipé. On se sent tout de suite bien et au final une super semaine pleine d'activités, de découvertes sans oublier de bon moments gastronomiques. Appartement très agréable et très calme à l'écart de l'agitation du centre ville. L'appartement est très propre et bien équipé. La literie est confortable. Adresse à retenir ! L'accueil a été très chaleureux et le contact par mail avec la propriétaire très facile. La plage est située à 15 min à pied.

We bought the apartment from new and took the keys in 2009. Nicole is French and her family come from the area. We have always loved Cabourg with it's beautiful promenade and bustle of holidaymakers and 'weekenders' but the location is so quiet with lovely walks round the Divette. If we could move from the UK and all the nasty work we'd do it tomorrow although our twin sons Lucas and Benjamin might have an opinion on that!! They have frequently sailed and joined beach clubs etc and they really love the peace and quiet of the apartment with the town life close by as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

We wanted a brand new apartment with very low maintenance in a quiet spot with secure underground parking and a private balcony. Although we don't have the largest apartment by a long way, we're one of only 4 with this feature. We also didn't want to be in the centre of town but close enough to walk easily to it and to the fantastic beach.

What makes this property unique

We love the privacy, the ease of parking underground, the feeling of space you get in the open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area and the peace and quiet. It's so quiet we usually sleep up to nine hours a night! But when we need a little livening up...we've got about 30 restaurants, bars and the best beach and promenade in Normandy a 10 minute walk away
