Located directly on the Ohio River in Prospect, KY, The Barge Inn is a spacious riverfront townhouse that comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests. With beautiful river views, multiple decks, and a private 40-foot dock, it's a wonderful place to spend time with family and friends, no matter the season.

Inside, you'll find vaulted ceilings, plenty of natural light, and comfortable spaces to gather or spread out. With 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and a finished lower level, there's room for everyone to enjoy their stay.

One of our favorite things about The Barge Inn is simply watching life on the river. Start your morning with coffee on the balcony, watch the barges make their way up and down the Ohio, or catch a glimpse of deer along the shoreline. And the sunsets? They're pretty hard to beat, especially with Charlestown State Park just across the water.

There's plenty to explore nearby, too. Spend a day visiting Kentucky's bourbon distilleries and wineries, tour the beautiful horse farms, visit Churchill Downs, or play a round at one of the area's golf courses. Louisville's restaurants, shopping, and attractions are also within easy reach.

This place is awesome! We were in for the derby and it’s a perfect location in a quiet neighborhood! Beautiful river in the back. Clean, plenty of linens, fully stocked kitchen!

My brother and his spouse, my elderly parents and myself and my husband spent two nights there. My grown children and their children did come to visit one evening for dinner and the space was just the right size to host a family dinner. It was great to wake up and hear the tugboats and barges going down the river at night and the view of the river was spectacular. I highly recommend this place as it is spacious and perfect for a family. The kitchen was well equipped with everything that you would need. The beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of restrooms.

The Barge Inn was exactly what our family needed for a weekend getaway. The river was great for boating, tubing, paddleboarding, fishing and swimming. Our family enjoyed some bucket golf on the lawn, the beautiful views and lots of space for everyone indoors. A gem of a spot—thanks for being a great host of this beautiful property!

We had a wonderful stay! Communication from the host was excellent from start to finish. The home had plenty of bedrooms and space for everyone to spread out comfortably, and we especially enjoyed relaxing by the river and watching the barges go by throughout the day. A great spot for a peaceful getaway with family or friends.
