Cosy cottage in the Tarn countryside, close Toulouse and Albi- pet friendly
A charming, independent cottage . 2 double bedrooms 160cm and 140cm beds. Large south facing terrace with table and chairs and far reaching views of the countryside. Fully equipped kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, cafétiere, electric oven, ceramic hob and washing machine. Comfortable salon/dining room, HD LED TV, Bluetooth speaker, board games and many books on the area, its history and places of interest.
Free wifi.
Private parking . A perfect place to relax as a couple, with friends or with the family. You may see a car in the distance but you'll rarely hear it.
All linen and towels provided.
The house is five kilometers from Rabastens, in the Golden Triangle between Toulouse (35min), the Episcopal City of Albi - a Unesco world heritage site (25min) and Cordes-sur-Ciel (30 min). There are many walking paths and cycle and motorbike routes nearby ranging from easy to expert levels. The local attractions include the fortified villages of Lisle-sur-Tarn, Castelnau de Montmirail, Puycelsi and Cordes-sur-Ciel. Each village has a market day and is rich with local produce, shops and artisans. There are about one hundred local Gaillac aoc wine producers outside of the large wine cooperatives. Each of these wine growers produces wine which shows off the characteristics of their land. To appreciate the wines fully there is a "Wine Route" and it is possible to visit each wine-grower and taste their wines.

Originally from London our family moved here in 2004. Our 2 children were thrown into the Fench school system and are now completely bi-lingual - we do our best. We all love France and the slow paced rural life. We feel part of a community here.
