It's time for a Groovy Getaway! Step back in time to the 1970s during your stay in Statesboro. Our place was built in 1973 and has original and updated features from the greatest decade ever :-)
3 bedroom + bonus bedroom conversion, 2.5 bath ranch style home. King, 2 queens and two twin sleeping beds. Large, cleared backyard with natural privacy from trees and hedges. Large exposed aggregate patio.
Quiet, mature residential neighborhood close to everything. Our house is walkable to East Georgia Regional Medical Center (0.5 miles, or 12 minutes) and Paulson Stadium for GSU games (1.3 miles, or 30 minutes). The stadium is a healthy walk, but it beats the traffic and congestion before and after games. You could walk to the center of campus, as well, which is about a mile. Gnat's Landing is a short drive, and downtown is 2.5 miles.
We ask that guests respect the tranquility of the neighborhood and honor a 9pm outdoor quiet hour during the week and 10pm on the weekends.
That 70s House is a non-smoking house.
We love our furry family members, too, but we don't allow pets in That 70s House. We want everyone to enjoy their stay.

The 70’s theme is fun. My adult children enjoyed it. Jason is very responsive. House is clean. We had a great weekend visiting my son at GSU for his birthday! Highly recommend.

Why they chose this property
We chose this house given its proximity to the GSU campus and regional hospital. It is walkable to both, especially the hospital. Campus and the football stadium are a bit more of a walk, but you can do it if you allow 30 minutes at an easy pace.
What makes this property unique
The 70s, of course. Michelle is a child of the early 70s, and I am a child of the late 60s. Both or our early memories are from the 70s, and we both love the music from that decade. We wanted to decorate the place to feel like that era. So, you will get a lot of color and some funky wallpapers. In addition to the decor, the house was built in 1973, and it has original, unique features from that era, such as the sunken living room, the dark walnut built-in cabinets with wet bar, and the avocado green tile in the Flower Power full bath. Several of the light fixtures are original, as well.
