We stayed with three generations of Raystown Lake families and wanted a wooded setting for camp fires, a relaxing night away from the water and quick access to town - all made possible by our host. The house is rustic with a bit of modern updates - both perfect . There was some old cabin charm and enough updates welcoming us to enjoy a dinner together, a family game and the feel of sleeping in the back woods. We definitely saw wildlife - plenty of deer, birds, and other animals. I enjoyed several days on a morning walk to see the sunrise at the Ridenour and Hawn’s Overlook (1ish miles). Our family grew up staying close to Seven Points for access to our boat at the marina. This was a great location to get to the marina and still enjoy being close to places we wanted to go in town. The hosts provided an easy check in and check out and responded quickly and friendly to all messages. Highly recommend if you are looking for a chill, woodland setting that is both close enough and secluded enough.
