Our home in Tbilisi is in an historic building near Freedom Sq., the Old Town, Rustaveli Ave. and all of the major attractions. Nearby are restaurants, bars, and wine tasting venues, some of which are open 24 hours. There is a travel agency and rent-a car office downstairs. Shalva Dadiani Street street is in a quiet neighborhood where trendy new cafes and shops are popping up regularly.
Our flat was built in the 1920s, but is modernly furnished. A new kitchen was installed in July 2017. There are two balconies - one is an open balcony that faces Dadiani St. and the second is an enclosed balcony facing the "Italian Yard" on the back side. The rooms are quite spacious with high ceilings. We have free internet and satellite TV for your convenience.
Taxis can be ordered in English or Russian 24 hours a day or accessed at Freedom Square. At the beginning of Rustaveli Ave. you can access public buses and Liberty Square Metro Station. Guests are welcome to use free parking in the Italian Yard on the back side of the building.

About the host
Hosted by Svetla Parker
I am Bulgarian and live in Sofia most of the year. I fell in love with Georgian culture, food, people, and nature on my first trip in 2014. I bought this flat so I'd have a place to call home when visiting Tbilisi. I love to travel, ski, cook, and meet new people. I have been hosting guests in several locations since 2015.
Why they chose this property
I first traveled to Georgia for a bit of culture, wine and skiing in 2014 and fell in love with the country. I knew it was a place I would like to come back to again and again. On a trip in 2016, I mentioned to a friend that I was thinking of buying a flat in Tbilisi. Several days later, my friend told me about this flat on Shalva Dadiani and the rest is history. I try to get to Georgia a few times a year to visit friend and explore new places. This flat is my base while I am in Georgia. The rest of the year, I rent the flat out to cover expenses and support my travel habit. :)
What makes this property unique
This is a perfect flat for a long weekend of touring or a more extended stay. It is spacious with high ceilings and equipped with everything you need for your stay. The Old Town, Freedom Square, and Rustaveli Avenue are at your fingertips. You can walk to most of the main tourist sites. A bus stop and metro station are less than 200 meters from the flat. If you are looking to explore outside of Tbilisi, there are a number of car rental offices and tour agencies scattered around the surrounding streets. Despite being in the center of anything one could want in Tbilisi, my flat is a quiet refuge for relaxation at the end of a long day.
Your local host, George, is also a benefit. George takes care of things when I am not there. George is born and raised in Tbilisi and works as a tour guide during the day. He can answer any questions you might have and is also worth hiring for a very insightful walking tour of Tbilisi.
