Hello there,
our villa with private pool (15m x 4m) is located in a typical Cretan village with the name Fodele and is surrounded by orange trees. From the large balcony where you can have breakfast in the morning you have a beautiful view over the village and its church.
The house has 3 bedrooms, there is the master bedroom with seperate bathroom, 1 bedroom with a double bed and a third bedroom with a bunk bed for 3 perons to sleep (we also have a baby bed that can be put in any of the rooms). There is a second bathroom with bath and shower and a seperate restroom.
The living area has an open kitchen with a kitchen stove, a microwave, two refrigerators and a washing machine. It also has an open space with two (sleep) sofa's.
Outsice on the balcony there is a large square table with benches where you can have your meals and ther is also a sink outside where you can do the diches.
The swimming pool is 1.60m deep and there is also an area in the pool that is only 30cm deep, for children to play or to sit and cool down. At the end of the swimming pool there is a sitting area that is protected against the sun.
The village Fodele is within walking distance (500m). In the village you can see several older women making small bags in macrame and selling embroidery along the central village road.
You can do your daily shopping at the few small grocery stores, the bakery or the butcher, or you can eat at one of the small tavernes that really serve typical Greek and Cretan food.
Just outside the village at a walking distance of about 2km you will find a small museum of the painter El Greco and also a small Byzantine church , both are worth visiting.
