We had a wonderful time at The Gem. The house was beautiful- decor was lovely and the house was so spacious. It was plenty of room for our group of 11 adults. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. It was very clean when we arrived. Karen was so receptive to any messages and it was a wonderful bonus that we were able to get to the house a bit earlier the day we arrived. We had a great week and would definitely stay again!

Great rental for a family

Short walk to the bay and a quick drive to local Cape May attractions. House was fully equipped and very clean. Owners were extremely responsive to any questions ahead of or during our stay. Would definitely stay here again or recommend to friends.

Wonderful house!!!

This house is recenty renovated and they arre maintaining very neat and clean. We had enough space there for 16 people to sleep and every enjoyed a lot. Overall our stay was 'wonderful '. I will consider this place again for our next vacation.

2024 Family vacation

The house was just as pictured. It was spacious and very clean and tastefully decorated with a beach theme. Plenty of room for our family. The beach was just steps away from our front door and was quiet and peaceful every day! We would definitely use this house in the future and recommend it highly!

Sunset on the Bay…just steps away!

This well-appointed, spacious, immaculate house is where our family called home for a week. The beds were comfortable, the hot tub inviting, and the sunsets some of the best we have ever sun! The two west-facing decks allowed you to watch the sunset comfortably from your Adirondack chair, or just a few steps away, bayside on the beach. It was a wonderful week and the host was very responsive to our questions. A must-stay!

Gem was a gem!

It was a great house with great views and a quick walk to a great beach. No need to go anywhere else to enjoy quiet time with family. Karen was a great host and ensured we had a great time. Did I mention everything was great? Lol

Good vacation house.

Very comfortable house. Spacious and well-equipped kitchen. Lots of beach equipment - chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc. Great deck for enjoying the ocean view & dining al fresco. Beach just a minute's walk from the house. Lovely sunsets over the bay. Be aware three story house does mean stairs.

Family vaca 2024!

The trip was very enjoyable and the Gem of the Bay was very nice and as described. We were 14 in total, so we needed all the space provided. The house was very nicely laid out and the outside deck was wonderful in the morning and late evening (after the heat of the day)! We enjoyed the proximity to the bay (a very short walk) and the convenience of the hot tub! We would happily stay at this property again! Thanks Karen!

Gem of a Vacation

Our extended family of 14 (late teens to grandparents) enjoyed our stay at the Gem of the Bay. The house is beautiful, well- stocked, and comfortably fit all of us. We especially enjoyed the upper deck to watch the sunsets, as well as the large living room for gathering and playing games. The location regarding the beach could not have been better as it was literally a one minute walk away. The bay water was incredibly warm (though questionable in its clarity), and we were able to take long morning walks on the beautiful but quiet beach. Proximity to restaurants and grocery stores was good ( though not walkable), and popular spots such as the Cape May boardwalk and beaches ( beach passes were a bonus!), Wildwood, and several breweries were within a short drive. Communication with Karen was outstanding and her expectations for her guests are comfortably clear. We had no issues and would highly recommend this home. Thank you, Karen!

Beautiful property as advertised! Amazing view of the ocean from the top deck. Sunsets and dolphins did not disappoint! Amazing sandy beaches and warm water were so inviting. So much space in the home for gathering together or finding private time as needed. Karen was extremely easy to communicate with whenever I reached out. Family Bay Vacay

Very well appointed home with lots of spce for a large family vacation. Living room area large and comfortable for everyone to gather together. If you desire some "down time" there are cozy sitting areas on the second floor , the first level, and plenty of room on the massive decks. It was very comfortable. The owner is quickly available and responds within minutes if you have any concerns. We very much enjoyed our stay.
