About this property
Beautiful Home W/Hot Tub Near Crystal And Rainier
Welcome to our cabin! Just 15 minutes away from the Sunrise/White River entrance to Mt Rainier National park and 20 minutes from Crystal Mountain Ski Resort, our beautiful Crystal River Ranch home is the perfect place to experience all this extraordinary place has to offer you. Our 1600 sq ft home was built in 1994 and has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The master bedroom with a king bed and adjoining bathroom as well as the second bedroom with a queen bed are located downstairs. The upstairs belongs to the kids with 3 beds plus a trundle bed. The loft upstairs has a futon and a tv for the kids to use. The well-stocked kitchen opens up into the dining area with enough room for a larger group (up to 8) to sit and eat comfortable. The large windows allow natural light to fill the area and the large flat screen tv will allow for a cozy night watching a movie. On the deck, you will find a BBQ for your convenience. After a hard day hitting the trail or the slopes, you will definitely want to relax in our brand-new 8 person hot tub. Summertime guests might find it hard to choose between the hot tub or roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. Decisions, decisions. Either way, you will not be disappointed!
Vacationing in the Winter? Ski/ Snowboard Crystal Mountain! With a whopping 486 inches of snow, Crystal Mountain Resort speaks for itself with the most vertical terrain of any mountain in the state. You’ll find 2,600 acres of everything from gentle groomed runs for beginners to challenging steeps, glades, chutes, bowls and expansive backcountry for the more adventurous. Not a skier or snowboarder? No problem! Give snowshoeing a try or just cuddle up by the fire in our massive native stone fireplace with a good book .
Vacationing in the summer? At an elevation of 6,400 feet, Sunrise is the highest point that can be reached by vehicle at Mount Rainier National Park. In summer, mountain meadows abound with wildflowers. On clear summer days, Sunrise provides breathtaking views of Mount Rainier, Emmons glacier, vibrant wildflower meadows. Sunrise Point offers nearly 360-degree views of the surrounding valleys, Mount Rainier, and other volcanoes in the Cascade Range such as Mount Adams. The hiking trails are endless whether you hike right out of our cabin, drive to Mt Rainier, or take the gondola up and hike down. Don't forget your bikes either-mountain or road-you have plenty of choices. Hungry? Take the gondola up to the Summit House, Washington’s highest restaurant. Alternatively simply pack a picnic and watch the sun set from your own spot at the top of Crystal. The community center just down the street has a playground for kids and a basketball and pickle ball court.

About the host
Hosted by Christina Brinker
As a former outdoor educator, I treasure my time in the mountains but with 2 busy kids, my month long journeys have been momentarily limited! I bought this cabin in an effort to raise my children to love everything the mountains have to offer. Many years have now passed and I don't even try to keep up with my 13 and 15 year old on the slopes! I love my cabin so much and all the wonderful memories it has given me. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
Why they chose this property
We choose Greenwater because it is only 90 minutes away from Seattle which allows us to jump in our car almost any time. Going even for one night is worth it to us.
What makes this property unique
The perfect location of this cabin made us fall in love right away. Being in the Crystal River Ranch allows for more privacy and quietness. Being in Greenwater allows us to be minutes away from Washinton's only ski area with a gondola in the winter time and minutes from Rainier National Park during the summertime.
