Great house close to Crystal Mountain.Had a little issue with the furnace but the host was very quick to be responsive. Plenty of firewood for the wood stove! Will visit again!

Was such a pleasure having you! Hope to have you again soon.
We booked this cabin for our son’s birthday ski trip, and unfortunately, our experience was far from the relaxing getaway we had anticipated. On the day of our arrival, we were informed that the heating furnace was broken, and we were instructed to use the wood stove. At that point, we had no other option, and the situation only worsened. The wood stove could not heat the entire cabin, and we had to get up repeatedly throughout the night to add more wood, making it very difficult to rest.Additionally, the hot tub was not functioning, which was a major disappointment for our children after a cold day on the mountain. We were also misled by the cabin listing, which advertises a three-bedroom cabin. In reality, it is a two-bedroom cabin with a small loft containing a futon, which does not equate to three proper bedrooms.Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. Between the inadequate heating, non-functional hot tub, and misleading description, our trip was negatively impacted, and what should have been a special celebration for our son turned into a stressful situation.

Thank you for your review and I am disappointed to read that you felt your stay was stressful, particularly because we were in consistent communication throughout your visit.
The furnace stopped working the day of your arrival, and I notified you immediately upon learning of the issue. I did not delay sharing that information. At no point during your stay did you communicate that the temperature in the home was unmanageable or that additional heating support was needed. Had you done so, I would have promptly delivered space heaters or offered you the option to cancel the remainder of your reservation with a refund. That opportunity to resolve the issue in real time was never declined because it was never requested.
Regarding the hot tub, I remain unclear about the nature of the complaint. It was verified to be hot, clean, and fully operational during and after your stay. No malfunction was identified. If there was confusion about operation, I would have gladly assisted had I been notified at the time.
I take guest comfort seriously and respond quickly when concerns are raised. In this case, I was not given the chance to correct the issues described in the review, which is unfortunate. I always encourage guests to communicate concerns immediately so they can be addressed promptly.
This cabin was amazing and perfect for my husband and our 3 kids. Everyone has lots of space. The Christmas tree was a special touch. The fireplace was amazing. The heater worked perfectly and kept the cabin nice and cozy even though it was in the low 20s outside. The showers were nice and hot. We can't wait to stay there again next year.
House worked out great, drive to the mountain was short, check-in was easy, and house had everything we needed. Making dinner, then getting in the hot tub or making a fire after a long day on the slopes made for a great time for all.

This cabin was not clean at all. On one bed, the blanket was filthy and one of the pillows had no pillow cover. The other cover was dirty. Pots and pans were not clean. There were toys on the floor and patio in various places. There were dead bugs in the kitchen sink and on floors. The hot tub was so unkempt that I would mot want to touch it. The host Kristy was very cooperative and apologetic. She made getting a full refund very easy. We were able to find wonderful new place on the same area.

So sorry again for your experience. As I mentioned we have updated our cleaning service in hopes this will never happen to another guest. Hope you had a wonderful stay in washington! Glad I was able to get a refund for you with VRBO
We enjoyed our days at the cabin taking our 2 year old granddaughter for her first taste of skiing! The cabin was cozy with the fire and the hot tub was most relaxing! Would definitely make a return visit! Thanks!

Great location to explore Sunrise Center and all the amenities
We had a very nice family trip to this beautiful tucked away cabin. The location was great for us to explore the Sunrise Visitor Center of Mt Rainier NP. The cabin is well maintained and cozily decorated. It has all the amenities you could ever ask for. Such gracious hosts. Would highly recommend but book fast because this area gets reserved quite quickly!
Wonderful host, great cabin, and conveniently located (to Crystal Mountain ski resort).
We had a great stay in Kristy's property. Everything was just as described!
Home was well stocked with essentials and more, which was great for the nights where we cooked in. Hot tub was great after long days on the slopes and as was the fire 🔥 place.
We got to see the Elk heard in the neighborhood on multiple days, enjoy Naches tavern, and several nice days at Crystal mountain.
Thank you!
My friends live and work on Crystal Mountain and a big group of us came out to visit them and stayed here. This place is superb! The hot tub was lovely and perfect after a hard day of skiing and snowboarding. The pantry was so stocked we were amazed! Little things like having seasonings really make the difference. The wood fire was a lovely feature we really enjoyed in the evenings after a day on the mountain. Elk will almost definitely be seen right out the windows.

Not 3 Bedrooms
Great location. This is 2 bedrooms and a futon outside a bedroom, not 3 bedrooms. We recommend arriving early enough to start a fire because the Nest thermostat is set very low (was 43 degrees when we arrived). Bring lanterns and candles the power seems to go out frequently.
The property owner was very nice and extremely helpful. She was always available when we had questions, and very understanding when we ran into delays trying to check out. The property was perfect for our family of five, easy access to sunrise hikes at Mount Rainier.
The cabin is fantastic and very well located. The floor plan is ideal for two families with young children. Firepit area was great and hot-tub ready to use. All basics (Coffee, salt, were available).
Overall, the house was mostly clean but there was some dust.
Being 4 adults and 3 children, we could have used more cutlery (but a lot of advanced equipment as described) and a couple more chairs on the deck would be nice too in addition to the firepit area.

Thank you so much for the review! I have mentioned the dust to the cleaners and they have assured me they will take closer care moving forward, so that was very helpful.
Have a wonderful rest of your summer!

Amazing Cabin
We stayed there for 2 days and we really enjoyed it. The place was spotless and so beautiful and bigger than what it shows in the pictures. The beds were comfortable and the owner was really nice and responsive. She responded to every email I sent her in less than an hour. The check in time was at 3pm but we needed to check in sooner and since no one was reserving the night before she let us to check in sooner which helped us alot. Over all we made such an amazing memories there and would rent this cabin for next time. I highly recommend this cabin. Thank you so much for letting us make some unforgettable memories there :)

the cabin was fine...however, it appeared not to have been really cleaned....cleaned, but....
the sheet cabin was not orderly...they were by size, but not really folded. The hot tub was not working and appeared to be in that state for some time.

Just ok
The location was perfect, short drive to Mt. Rainer and a easy drive to Seattle. It was lacking cleanliness we feel that it hadn’t been cleaned from the last guest and the rules and guidelines book felt a little stiff and that all the cleaning was put on the guest to do before departure. The hot tube was unusable and there was no TV. In all honesty it was just a place to sleep it did not feel like a spa or retreat.
This cabin is setup very well for large groups. We comfortably slept 9 adults. Everything with our stay was lovely until the power went out in a storm leaving the interior of the house at 7 degrees. The host and property manager were responsive, however the home did not have a back generator or supplies. We drove to Enumclaw and back that night to buy fire wood, flashlights, candles, and blankets. The host refunded 86% of our third night cost, which was appreciated since our group had to leave the weekend a day early to get back to warmth. Weather elements are unpredictable for sure, although more emergency items in the house would have been appreciated. Would stay again with the right preparation items.

Items that need to be addressed
The rail on the top bunk in the upstairs bedroom was broken upon arrival. A lot of the light bulbs were out and had to buy more light bulbs. There was not enough pillows and had to buy some more. In the upstairs shower, it was difficult to control the temperature either too hot or too cold. Also, there was not enough hand soap or wash cloths.

My gosh I am so very sorry to hear this. I would be happy to reimburse you for the light bulbs. My cleaners typically take care of this and notify us of low supplys etc. There should have been extra pillows in the downstairs armoire with the spare blankets. Please next time notify me as soon as you arrive so I am able to help you with any issues. I hope the rest of your stay was lovely.

Nice Place To Stay - Would Go Again
Overall, we had a great stay there. The pictures and description of the house are a little misleading. This is a 2 bedroom and a loft, not a 3 bedroom. It does sleep the amount of people advertised and there was WiFi. The property could of used some trimming. There will be food left over from past guests, but check the dates before you use. There was plenty of sheets, towels, and blankets to use. There is a community center across the street which came in handy for a BBQ as we had for several guests that visited and kids were able to play there as well. Supermarket is about 30 minutes away and some small stores about 10 minutes away. The Christmas Tree in the living area and Christmas lights on the property should probably be put away until needed for the 6 weeks a year. My damage deposit was returned timely and the owner responded to text messages within minutes.

Awesome cabin, but gas ran out
This is a spectacular cabin that had no problem accommodating for my large party of nine. The cabin is very spacious, is exceptionally well provisioned, has a ton of charm, and is in an excellent location for winter activities such as skiing at Crystal or snow shoeing. The hottub is a wonderful and relaxing amenity, though it was a bit murky when we arrived (the owner does provide treatment chemicals and instructions which we followed). The cabin is an easy 1.5-2 hr drive from Seattle, and the roads are very well maintained. The owner/property manager is very responsive, often responding to questions within hours. And while I couldn't be more pleased with the what the cabin offered, my party's experience was dampened quite a bit when the gas tank supplying the cabin ran out on day 3 of our 4 day stay. The stovetop and the cabin's central heating system are gas based, so we were unable to use the gas cooking range or the gas heater for our last day or night. While there is a microwave and slow cooker in the cabin, using alternative options to feed a group of 9 when we had pre-planned/purchased our meals with a stovetop in mind is extremely inconvenient. The owner/property manager was very responsive and prompt via text when I informed her that the gas had gone out, but she was out of the country during my stay and was unable to arrange for the gas tank to be refilled during my stay (she did offer to have some space heaters delivered which was very kind). While I understand that it can be difficult to determine when gas tanks are near depletion and they are often on a pre-set schedule for refilling, I also feel that running out of gas is something that should never happen to a group paying to rent a winter cabin. If nothing else, I was hoping that my group would be offered a small discount off our stay for our inconvenience, but we weren't. Ultimately I would recommend this cabin to others in the future because everything else about it is so fantastic, but I would advise others to inquire about the gas level prior to their stay. If it happened to us, it's likely that it's happened to others, and could happen to you.

So very sorry again Spenser and we truely did everything thing we could and we were able to pay the gas company extra to fill it the next day which unfortunately was the check out day. We have only owned the cabin since September and unfortunately during the purchase the gas auto refill paperwork was not done properly and we had no idea as this had never happened. We would gladly offer you a discount on a return visit and feel horrible about the situation.
Lovely great room, location, and super well stocked kitchen was a bit marred by some obvious maintenance needs and no (or very poor) cleaning between us and the guests before us. I gave details to the owner directly and expect that was probably a one-off of some kind. The atmosphere is kinda funky and fun (Christmas in August?) as well as secluded and a great window on nature.
