Guests enjoy a cozy bathroom with a refreshing shower with a rain shower head and thoughtful touches like towels, hand soap, paper products and hair dryer. The new propane fireplace keeps the yurt comfortable no matter how chilly! We offer high speed Starlink internet and a smart TV. Outdoors you will find solar lighting and a custom fire pit complete with wood, kindling and starter. There's even marshmallow sticks! Enjoy the bromine hot tub while watching the stars and listening to the coyotes! Whether you’re relaxing indoors or exploring the many restaurants, breweries, antique shops or hiking/biking/skiing trails nearby, this superb yurt offers a peaceful retreat! The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Gather used towels
Remove personal items and remove leftover food and drinks
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please place used towels in the shower or hang them on the door. Turn hot tub down to 90 & be sure lid is secure.
Place garbage in the bins provided. Recycling must be rinsed clean, caps off, no tissues/paper towels, leave bag open so we can sort it.
Dishes washed well, dried, put away clean. Yurt must be left tidy to avoid $250 cleaning fee. Pls be respectful & clean up after yourself (ex: wipe spills, dispose of trash).
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Smoking allowed outside, OFF porch ONLY. No illegal drug use of any kind permitted. Evidence of drug use will incur $300 fine/police notified;
We do not charge a cleaning fee so we expect space to be tidy. A cleaning fee will be imposed up to $250 if yurt isn't left in respectful condition.
No animals of any kind please. It’s dangerous for the goats!

Why they chose this property

"Yurt So Good" is located on a town maintained dirt road, nearly a mile off the main road. You will not be able to see the neighbors and across the road from the yurt is a hay field, that is worked in season. You'll have a partial view of the road depending on time of the year. Several old apple trees are on the front lawn and line the long driveway.

You will be about 5-8 minutes from 4 country stores for gas and provisions. A large grocery store is 10 miles away. You will be 13 miles from the base of Jay Peak Resort and 9 miles from Main Street, Newport. Several wonderful restaurants all within 10-40 minutes away, farmers markets, sugaring shacks, breweries, museums, hiking, skiing, kayaking, and VAST trails are all nearby in the Northeast Kingdom- our very special part of Vermont.
