We had some issues on our stay, but the host followed up on them and hopefully the issues are resolved for the next people staying. Would love to go back when everything is 100%. It is a nice area and quick easy access to town. Communication was great. The day we checked in we had 3 bears at the property when we pulled in, that was exciting. Only thing I can say that wasn’t easily fixable was the lighting was not that great in the house.

It’s wonderful to hear that the location, easy access to town, and communication made your stay enjoyable. And what an exciting welcome, three bears at the property on arrival is certainly a memorable way to start a mountain getaway!
We’re glad our team was able to follow up on the concerns you shared during your stay. We take guest feedback seriously and were happy to have the opportunity to assist. We’re sorry that the lighting was not quite what you hoped for, but we’re pleased to hear you’d consider returning once everything is in top shape.
Thank you for staying with us and for sharing such thoughtful feedback. We’d love to welcome you back and hope your next visit is an even better experience.
We highly enjoyed our stay this past weekend! We came down for a quick vacation for the 4th of July with family. The cabin fit our family of 6 comfortably and even allowed our fur baby to stay as well. We got to see some bears at the cabin during our stay and the quick drives to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge was very convenient! Will definitely recommend this cabin for anyone else looking for a nice little spot away from home. The check In and check out process was very easy too!

Only issue was that we had no Internet for the duration of the stay. The host did communicate with us about this and attempt to fix, but communication was delayed due to poor cell service and the lack of Internet. The place was clean and comfortable and the host immediately fixed the only other concern we had. It was a beautiful place to stay and we got to watch a mama bear and 2 cubs from the deck.
- The pictures make the cabin look nicer than it is. - Hot tub looked like it was shredded by a bear. We weren’t notified that it wasn’t available.- Power & water was out for half a day, We had to change our plans & leave, wasting the food we bought to make breakfast. And we had to leave the dogs there much longer than we wanted to.- Toilets both backed up. - Downstairs bathroom sink backed up.- Uneven & damaged floors. The uneven transition from kitchen to bathroom tripped my elderly mother, & she fell hard, nearly hitting her head on the sink. - Dead bugs in the upstairs bed.- Low ceiling in upstairs bathroom may be OK for kids & shorter people. I’m a 6’0” man. I had to crouch. - Toilets were very low, making it hard for my mother & wife (bad knee/back) to stand up from them.- Couch was completely unusable. It’s low to the floor. The cushions sink down inside the frame, & the edges dig into your thighs. We could only sit on the hard dining table & rocking chair, which aren’t relaxing either.- Pots & pans were dirty. We had to wash them to use them.- Dryer vent is broken. When we tried using the dryer, the heat became unbearable in the living room.- Downstairs bedroom tv doesn’t work.- We saw a mouse.- The view was disappointing. In the front, you look directly at an embankment & the driveway/car tires are at eye level. The back is fine.
