This beautifully renovated 1950s converted horse barn offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern luxury — all nestled on 2 peaceful acres as part of the larger BluHawk Farms property in South Overland Park, KS. With 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, and 2000 sq. ft. across two cozy levels, this one-of-a-kind barn stay gives you more space, privacy, and personality than any standard hotel ever could.

We offer a dog friendly space with a fenced in yard. Please read through our pet policy for more information.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please put all used towels in the wire hamper in the upstairs closet.
Pet owners please pick up all dog waste from the yard (bags are provided), and throw the bags in the outside white trash can in the side yard.
No pets are allowed on the furniture or beds.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Pet fee covers 1 dog under 50 pounds for 2 nights. Any additional nights or pets will incur additional costs.
Any excessive cleanup due to a pet stay will result in a extra cleaning charge.

Cute, very comfortable cabin to spend some time at. I was there for a week and had everything I needed to get a good night's sleep, make meals, do laundry and relax. Full kitchen, laundry room, relaxing living room. Quiet neighborhood that is close to everything you might need. I'm in KC a few times a year, I plan to see if this rental is available every time I'm in the area again.

The Cottage at Blue Hawk farms was such an awesome stay! If you are looking for a unique, beautifully & thoughtfully decorated rental that is super accommodating with a fantastic location. THIS IS THE PLACE! 110% Whether being a visitor from out of town, or just taking up a stay-cation... it's literally perfect and you cannot beat the immense value you receive at the price! You won't find much that even compares, truthfully. Our contact Joshua was so courteous & informative. They also added some very special touches to our stay that showed they truly are invested in their guests experience! And wow did we appreciate it! Highly recommend this VRBO rental, if you get the opportunity to book it, DO IT! Fantastic stay! A on all check boxes! We hope to be back for sure. Thank you for everything & ensuring we had a great time!

The barndominium was comfortable and set up well. It was in a good neighborhood and close to restaurants/stores and an easy enough drive into Kansas City. The air hockey table was a big hit!

The accommodations were great and just as described. Very clean & perfect for our stay! It was nice to have a fenced yard for our dog! The location is great! We will definitely try to stay there again if available.
