About this property
Charming 2-bedroom house in peaceful Pullman
A cozy two bedroom home located on Pullman's Military Hill, just minutes from downtown and WSU campus. Enter through a round door, reminiscent of the homes of Hobbiton, into a spacious central living room. Off the living room, through a set of French pocket doors you will find the main bedroom, containing a king sized bed.
The rear bedroom boasts a twin bed and a double-drop leaf table, making it the perfect work space with views out the sliding glass door onto the patio and backyard.
A cozy bathroom contains a clawfoot tub, circa 1916, salvaged from a farmhouse in Weippe, Idaho.
The kitchen has been fully remodeled by Renaissance Fine Woodworking, taking into account the small space and maximizing its functionality. Some of the kitchen amenities include a range, microwave, coffee maker, blender as well as a washer and dryer. As with other aspects of the home, the cabinets tell their story. They are crafted from black walnut, slowly collected over the years from local homesteads of the Palouse.

Frequently asked questions
About the host
Hosted by Elisa Medrzycki
I moved to Pullman in 2011 from Bellingham, WA. Pullman is my husband, Andrew's hometown, and we've enjoyed raising our three children on the Palouse. I enjoy gardening, animals and art while Andrew is a local woodworker. You can find his work at Pullmanwoodworking.com. The home is a showcase of many of his projects over the years.
Why they chose this property
Military Hill is generally a quiet family neighborhood. It's close to downtown and campus but far enough to enjoy other aspects of Pullman. Check out Conservation Park for a nature walk to take the kids to Harrison Street Tot Lot for a park adventure.
What makes this property unique
This was our family home for many years, and we are glad to have the opportunity to share it with you. The home boasts unique woodworking, from the round door to the inset bathroom vanity, while the garden is home to many native plants and edible fruits and berries.
