About this property
State Street Cottage, 1 BR Apt
Adorable one-bed, one-bath sunny basement apartment right in the heart of Pullman. Five-minute walk to downtown, two blocks from the Chipman trail. Bus to campus stops right in front of the house. **We do NOT charge a cleaning fee and no check-out chores** Note: The ceilings are bit low in this unit. If you are taller than 6' 4" this might not be the place for you. No smoking of any kind is allowed anywhere on the property.
LICENSE NO: STR25-0009
We warmly welcome guests of all races, religions, orientations, and nationalities.
The apartment includes a newly remodeled kitchen and living room, a bedroom with a king bed, and a full bathroom.
We provide non-toxic brand shower products and use environmentally friendly cleaners for your safety and peace of mind.
There is one parking space dedicated to the apartment alongside the fence in the front of the house that can fit two average sized cars--one car behind the other. Guests enter the apartment through the gate to the side patio.
The apartment is in the lower level of a two-story house, and we have installed as much soundproofing between the floors as we can. However, you still may hear some footsteps or muffled voices from the upstairs unit sometimes.
We live next door, so we are available to help with any needs you may have.
We are located on the edge of Military Hill, one block from the Tot Lot playground with easy access to the Chipman Trail.
The Pullman bus stops right in front of the house to ride anywhere in town. Very handy for game weekends so you don't have to deal with driving and parking! We are also walking distance from downtown, and about a ten-minute walk to the edge of campus.
We can help you with walking routes anywhere in town. If you want groceries, we usually shop at Safeway or Wal-Mart, which are on the other side of town. There is a Rosauer's about a half-mile away.

Just the perfect place for our long weekend visit. Annie and Javad were extremely helpful and the location was great for what we wanted and needed. We are already talking about visiting again and this is where we will want to stay.Thank you!!
What a sweet little cottage! We absolutely loved it. Everything worked well, from the heating, coffee maker, filtered water, television, etc. All the amenities were provided. We wish we could’ve stayed longer!
Great owners and property. No issues while staying, but owners always answered messages promptly. Parking right next to entrance, spacious one bedroom with nice living area and kitchen, and bed was very comfortable.
The communication was great and the place was perfect for us. Very cute, comfy and super clean. Great location. We will look to book here again for sure!
It was the perfect combination of clean, cozy and well situated place. I felt grateful for easy communication and that I rested so well in a comfy bed.
We really enjoyed the State Street Cottage, 1 BR apt. We were in Pullman to watch a baseball tournament and it was like coming home after every game. AC working great. All the convience of home.
This tiny house was really well designed and had everything we needed. Easy access to running and biking. Host offered us a credit when we had to leave a day early, which we really appreciated!
Very clean, and adorable basement cottage in great location
Parking was easy, entrance was easy. Lots of great information was provided on the coffee table. Place was immaculate, and cozy. Comfy bed and pillows. We will stay again next time we are in town.
Amazing! Perfect apartment for a short stay right off the main street in Pullman. Appliances and mattress were all amazing and host was very welcoming. Would recommend to anyone!

Stayed in this little apt while we moved our daughter into WSU. So adorable. The owners are great. We had an issue with the bathroom door not shutting, and they came over and fixed it immediately. Will definitely be staying here again when we come back to visit our daughter.
My daughter and I stayed for a few days while visiting WSU for Spring Preview. The location is great, right near the school in a safe and quiet neighborhood. The unit was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. You can hear the people in the unit above, but it didn't bother us. Bed was comfortable. Appreciated the coffee, and extra blankets/towels. Owners were helpful when I needed to change the dates of our trip. If my daughter ends up going to WSU, this will be my go-to spot to stay when visiting.

Great Find in Pullman
We were looking for lodging in Moscow (U of I) and came across this Basement apartment in Pullman. Normally pictures are not representative of the property. In this case it was exactly as advertised....clean, nicely apportioned and you could tell the owners take pride.
Very recommended!
We stayed for three nights over Easter weekend to visit our Vandal. She lives in Pullman. It was perfect! Check in was a breeze. Accurate and easy to follow directions. Love the outdoor lighting! Location quiet and easy drive to all the things we did. We have stayed in four other rentals in our two years visiting the area and this will be our “go-to” if it’s available. We loved using the outdoor grill! We made steaks for Easter and hosted our daughter and her friends! Perfect! Loved the very large bedroom with bathroom that had a tub! I also appreciate the little extras. Like coffee (K-cups), cream, sugar and extras spices for cooking. I can’t say enough about this place. We loved it. Thank you again!

Lovely little place...
This is a lovely place--very clean and comfortable and suited my needs quite nicely. There was quite a bit of noise from upstairs, however, and more than I expected (hence 4 stars instead of 5).

About the host

We are a family of five living in Pullman, WA on the beautiful palouse. We spent a couple of years living in Phoenix and 12 years living in Chicago before making our way home to the Pacific Northwest. In between, we spent a year traveling the U.S. as digital nomads, which was a fantastic adventure for our whole family. We love traveling and we love travelers, and we're thrilled to be able to provide a comfortable place for people to stay.
