Copious windows placed throughout perfectly frame the rugged and beautiful coastal landscape while allowing an abundance of natural light to decorate your view. When cooler coastal temperatures hit, fire up the authentic wood stove (Presto logs only), sink into one of the three recliners, and let yourself be mesmerized by the crashing waves as a storm rolls in.
Queue up a movie in the DVD player or on cable to watch TV in the living room while the smell of popped corn fills the room. You'll find plenty of comfy seating here, including a sofa bed. For those who need to keep their pulse on the outside world, free WiFi will keep you connected.
The well-stocked kitchen (no dishwasher) is ready to cook your culinary creations and the fresh seafood you caught that day. Plenty of counter space makes food prep easy, and all the necessary utensils, dinnerware, and cookware will be provided for you. Serve your meal on the dining room table, where you'll be treated to exclusive oceanfront dining morning, noon, or night. You'll easily drift into dream time while crashing waves calm your mind, body, and soul. A cable TV atop the dresser creates the perfect setting for a lazy rainy day in bed. A full bathroom includes a shower/tub combination. An in-home washer/dryer will help to keep up on hiking and outdoor gear after a long day of beach and mountain explorations.
Miles of Pacific Ocean views will quickly lure you to the large wraparound deck in the drier months. Grab a mug of morning coffee or an evening glass of wine, relax into the Adirondack chairs and take a deep breath of coastal air. You're on vacation now! And what's a vacation without a barbecue? Fire up the gas grill on the patio and make your vacation complete.

Great place with beautiful views. Enjoyed it. A little hard to find at first as the house numbers are a little out-of-order but not the property owners fault. Would recommend.
Good place to get to the beach, hiking and restaurants. The home was clean, well stocked and the bed was comfortable. What else could you ask for…We would stay again in the future. PS. Watching the deer was a treat also.
Nice little home that is very close to the casino and beach. We were there for a couple nights for a pool tournament at the casino and really enjoyed our stay.
Cozy house perfect for us and our dog. Relaxing and comfortable stay in a quiet neighborhood with wonderful views of the ocean. Convenient to town but away from the busy traffic. Short walk to the beach. Plan on returning!
This is a great little beach house with a fantastic view of Roads End and its beach! Perfect for a relaxing long weekend with the hubs and our dog. For those with pups a quick note that the back yard isn’t fenced if that’s on the wishlist, but you can walk down the hill to a beach entrance on the next street over.
Perfect size for what we needed it for. The place was clean and had a lot of games and books for use. The view is wonderful. Close to everything. Definitely will be coming back.

Hi, Elise. Thank you for providing us with this valuable feedback. We thank you for your feedback, as it helps us improve our guests' experiences. We look forward to welcoming you back for another fabulous getaway in the future.
I do not often travel, much less stay at a vacation rental (it's by far cheaper to stay with family or friends). And the price of any rentals these days are beyond most people's budget. As much as we might have wanted a hot tub, pool, or sauna, or the guarantee of standard/up-to-date furniture/beds, etc ... you have to know what will ultimately make your vacation stay, and for us - this time of year - wet/cold weather - and for the event we wanted to attend, the most important point was knowing where we were.
Seeing the familiar landmarks, even if it was too wet or cold to go outside is very gratifying.
Being close to Roads End State Recreation Site, and a quick drive to downtown, stores, fast food, restaurants, or Devils Lake - it was a great way to feel removed, but also on top of the world.
We saw deer, lots of bunny poop, and our dog enjoyed being on holiday as well 😀 😄
It was a safe, warm, dry haven for us during a winter storm.
No dishwasher... no obvious place for drying dishes (no rack we could find...)
The screen/glass(?) door stopping mechanism we couldn't get to work on either front or porch door. When making frequent trips in and out (packing, etc) we had to use something to prop the door open...
Only wish we had more time. . . (And money 😅)
Plenty of towels. There was a hair dryer & curling iron. There were scissors! And lighters for the wood heating stove. There's pepper (and a bunch of other random cooking spices, etc), and more pots than most wo
