Great location with a spectacular view. Probably should replace upstairs shower head with a removable one. Not very comfortable for adults. Otherwise a very relaxing stay with easy access to everything in town - from the beach to all the shops and restaurants.

Thanks, we're glad the cabin's location and views helped make your stay relaxing. Creating a calm seaside retreat is our goal, so it's great to know the home delivered that feeling. We appreciate the note about the upstairs shower head and adult comfort; we'll install a removable shower head and review furnishings to improve adult comfort. It's wonderful the easy access to town worked well for you. We'd be happy to welcome you back to Rockaway Beach Cozy Cabin.

Great location for getting on the beach, less than a minute. I wished there was a bbq, but we understand there really is nowhere to store it. The spice cabinet needs a going through, there was some spices, no oil and what was there was old, no salt at all. So, bring your own. Bring your own deck chairs, there really are none.

We appreciate your thoughtful feedback. Being just steps from the beach is one of the special parts of this cozy getaway, and we’re glad the location worked well for your stay. We’ll review and refresh the kitchen spices and staples so the cooking supplies are more useful for future guests. We’ll also clarify the deck chair and BBQ details in the listing to help guests plan comfortably for their time by the shore.

It is a great little house right on the beach with most everything you need for vacation. I think if essentials were provided like garbage bags, toilet paper and dishwasher pods it would have gotten 5 stars, but regardless we had a wonderful time and would stay here again!

The location is amazing and great for traveling with a dog. You are right on Rockaway beach and it is easy to walk everywhere. The house is a solid choice - nothing fancy but it was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with basics. A few small maintenance issues but overall our stay was very enjoyable.

The house, while a bit dated, was clean and comfortable. The view was amazing. I enjoyed being able to sit indoors and enjoy the ocean even when it was raining. It was nice to head out the door and walk directly down to the beach. I plan to rent this house again.

Our stay was nice and what we expected based on the pictures. Loved being right at the beach so it was easy access. Could have used a little more privacy as the house is right next to public entrance to the beach. The inside wood stove is under repair but we had fires on the beach. Pet friendly which is always an added bonus. The kitchen could use a few updated basic utensils…whisk, tongs, measuring cups. Beds are okay if you like a firm mattress. Overall we were happy with our stay and would stay again!

Allover a top choice for being so close to the beach, clean, walkable distance to food carts, restaurants, little market. This place has amazing view over the beach/ocean from the downstairs living area, but best is the bedroom balcony on the top floor. We had a great time. Its a good place for a dog as well

The location was awesome. Loved being able to bring the dogs. There was a few things that needs addressing. One thing is the sliding door to the back porch is really hard to close. The bunk beds in the kids room need to be tightened because they are really wobbly. And the sink in the upstairs bathroom is draining a little slow. We had a great stay otherwise thank you!
Pup view from master bedroom.
The pups stayed in the back yard but loved it.
The kids really enjoyed the freedom of being able to be close to the beach.
