Guest access
Please excuse the current state of the outside areas of my home. The yard and deck are currently under construction and will remain closed until summer. For your safety, do not enter or wander around the construction areas. Stay in the driveway and on the designated walking paths when arriving or leaving the home. Please do not start fires in the outside bonfire pit until the pad site is completed in May 2026.
Other things to note
Welcome to my little bungalow- my corner of the world! While I’m out traveling, I open my home to people like you in hopes that you’ll discover a bit of the magic that this place has brought into my life. I have a deep connection to this home and the land around it, and I invite you to feel that too.
Please remember that this is someone’s home. Treat it with love, care, and respect. Give it good energy, and leave it as good as or better than you found it.
I value sustainability and mindful living. You’ll notice cloth napkins instead of paper towels. Please turn off lights when you leave a room, wear a sweater and turn down the heater when you can. Be thoughtful with resources such as firewood and other provided amenities.
Most of all-enjoy your time here. May this place bring you peace, inspiration, and a sense of adventure.
House Rules:
The floors have been completely refinished. Please respect this home and remove your shoes when entering the home.
Pets
Furry friends are welcome — just please wipe their paws before coming inside. If your pet likes to lounge on the couch, kindly use the provided pet couch cover. Please note: additional cleaning fees may apply if pet hair is found on the furniture. Dogs are not to be left unattended in the cabin alone unless placed in a crate. Please pick up and dispose of your pet waste.
No Smoking
Smoking of any kind is not permitted indoors.
Kitchen
The kitchen is ready for cooking! In an effort to stay sustainable, no disposable paper items (like paper towels or napkins) are provided.
Wood Stove
Be smart and safe when using the wood stove:
Always close the fireplace doors or use the protective screen. Keep children and pets away — the stove gets VERY hot. Due to the layout and features of the home, this property may not be ideal for small children.
When You Leave:
Turn off all lights when not in use.
Turn down the heat before you depart.
The RoundHaus is an inspiring space and a great place for artists & creatives to retreat to work on projects. Flexible, remote working individuals will find serenity and a change of pace here. Let this be a place that friends gather. Families are welcome as well, just know there are many factors that may make the RoundHaus a challenging stay for families with young children.
