Beautiful Wai'ula'ula Condo at Mauna Kea - Home Away From Home
Welcome to Wai‘ula‘ula at Mauna Kea---a private, gated community on the Hapuna Golf Course.
Relax in our 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom, 2,100 sqft. condominium and enjoy the many upgrades we’ve added to our home, including hardwood floors, new bedroom carpeting, an updated outdoor kitchen, and more.
As original owners, we selected our 1st floor condo during Wai’ula’ula’s pre-build phase for its 650 sqft. wrap-around lanai, its preferred orientation during Kohala’s windiest days, and its proximity to the community’s recreation center. Our lanai’s northwestern exposure offers views of the ocean, the Kohala coast and, on clear days, the magnificence of Maui’s Haleakala across the channel.
We’ve spared little expense furnishing our home for family and friends, and trust that it will offer you the warmest aloha during your stay on the Big Island. Our unit offers: kitchen bar stools; an indoor dining table; two master suites with king size beds, dual sink bathrooms with a tub and walk-in shower; internet access; multiple 60”+ web-based HDTVs; Polynesian-inspired furnishings, a third bedroom with twin beds and a futon; a Bluetooth sound bar; two Tropitone outdoor tables/chairs on our lanai; an outdoor kitchen with sink, six-burner Weber Summit grill and refrigerator; and finally a wide variety of pool/beach extras, including towels, toys, and boogie boards, etc. We also ensure that our kitchen and laundry are equipped with virtually every necessity to accommodate you during your stay.
As one of the closest units to the community recreation center, you are steps away from a saline infinity pool, hot tub, outdoor showers, indoor lounge with HDTV, BBQ pavilion, toddler’s pool and fitness center. You’re also just a short drive from two of Hawaii's most beautiful white sand beaches at the Hapuna Prince and Mauna Kea resorts.
Should you wish to participate in the resorts’ (Mauna Kea and Westin Hapuna Prince) Amenity Package, a resort fee offers you charging privileges, preferential resort parking, as well as access to each resort’s fitness center, pool, beach towels, chaises and umbrellas. The 2026 base rate fee per household is $225 per day for the entire length of stay. The peak rate fee is $330 per day. Peak rate ($330 per day) dates are as follows:
Spring Break: March 21, 2026 - April 11, 2026
Thanksgiving: November 21, 2026 - November 27, 2026
Festive Season: December 19, 2026 - January 2, 2027
Days pass quickly with: sunrise and Kona coffee; a workout at the gym; a jog to either of the resorts; aerobic/yoga classes; breakfast on our griddle; paddle boarding; snorkeling; swimming; boogie boarding; golf; tennis; lounging on the beach; lunch at Mauna Kea’s Hau Tree beach restaurant; reading on our lanai; exploring the island; drinks, music, and sunsets at Mauna Kea’s Copper Terrace; grilling on our BBQ; dinner on our lanai; a movie on our 65” HDTV; and star gazing into an amazing night sky.
