Our property includes a few hosts onsite that are all family and PASSIONATE about this ranch, all that it offers, and ultimately, its’ success. Because of this, we believe we offer a all hands on deck, immersive informative, and inclusive experience from our hosts’ and hostess’. From full property tours, hayrides and cookouts, unique viewings of our working ranch and everything that a “day at the ranch” entails, interactive one on one with our animals, sunset rides and nighttime fire pit chats with s’mores- we really believe in our place and it’s offerings of a true utopia

If peace and solitude is what you’re looking for, you’ve found it! Located at the end of a secluded country road, Rockin’ Star Ranch is a luxurious getaway where time seems to stand still. RSR is about escaping urban life to re-connect with family, friends and all that nature has to offer. This VRBO listing is actually 1 of 10 different listings located on the ranch (sleeps 50+ adults) Patio cottage can be booked under this listing or the entire ranch can be booked under its own Rockin Star ranch listing. Guests are welcome to use the outdoor bar, the pool, fish in our ponds, observe and maybe even feed the animals, explore our property, and tour our event venue. Our amenities include an outdoor kitchen, pool, large pastures, tire swings, courtyards, cabins, fishing ponds (catch and release), the woods, and a game room which is located in the garage of the main house. Game room has ping pong, darts, horse shoes, corn hole and a telescope! Interested in horseback riding? A hayride? Maybe want to experience a day in the life of a cowboy? A restful break

Great Secluded Space and Beautiful Property

Great time!

We had a lovely getaway to Rockin Star Ranch! The kids loved feeding the animals, fishing, and swimming. Darrell, the owner, was so accommodating and helpful. He and his son were very sweet to our children, showing them around the ranch, and helping them out with the activities. We loved it and would highly recommend this fun family getaway!

Amazing property! 5 star

Can’t say enough about this property. Felt right at home from the moment we pulled in gate. Everyone loved horseback riding, feeding all the animals,pool,s’mores,fishing and so much more. Cabins are beautifully decorated with all the amenities for your stay. The pool is a huge bonus for my family. My favorite spot is the beach with hammocks. Amazing little getaway for my family of 7! We will definitely be back

So relaxing!

We enjoyed our stay very much in the Patio Cottage. The cottage was decorated so nice and every detail was thoroughly thought out. The beds were the best!! I got the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a long time. The outdoor kitchen and pool area was the perfect place to relax and wind down. The ranch was amazing and the animals were my favorite part. I got to feed a baby deer it’s bottle! Darrell and Grace were the perfect hosts. We will definitely be coming back soon!

Perfect Family Getaway

The property is beautiful, peaceful, and has no shortage of things to fill your time. We explored nature, including cows, horses, and exotics on the expansive spread of pasture, ponds & woods. I enjoyed reading a book by the pool while my boys fished and interacted with a variety of 4-legged friends (goats, pigs, horses, & a fawn). We utilized the well-stocked outdoor kitchen to prepare meals and the outdoor area to relax and play a variety of games. The provided cornhole, horseshoes, and ladder ball were an entertaining addition and we brought cards & dominoes. College Station is only about 45 mins away and we stopped there on our way in to watch an A&M baseball game. We spent one day in Brenham strolling through the historic downtown area, treated ourselves to ice cream at the Blue Bell Creamery, and had some good local eats at Las Americas Latin Cuisine. With the separate bungalows, this would be a perfect place for several families to gather, or for a group to coordinate a girls' weekend. Darrell is a top-notch host! We'll be back!

Great experience!

The cottage was clean and comfortable. The ranch was fun. Kids enjoyed the experience of living in the ranch with so many horses, long horns and sheep. We love the commercial kitchen.

Fun Getaway

My friends and I loved the property - our room was perfect for the 3 of us girlfriends enjoying a Round Top Antiquing weekend. I especially loved the setting - and all the animals to love on! Relaxing ranch

Awesome stay

We had a great experience staying at the Rockin Star Ranch. Our cottage was comfortable and clean. The pool area was amazing. The kids loved swimming in the pool and fishing in the pond. Feeding horses, walking in the pasture amongst the livestock, the tire swings, the whole experience was A+. Our cottage tv only had a DVD player and the WIFI signal wasn’t the best in our dwelling but we didn’t miss it too much. It was a great place to unplug and unwind.

Wow!

Needed a quick weekend getaway, and I'm so glad we booked at rockin star ranch! We stayed in the patio cottage, and I am so glad we did. It has a bedroom with a king bed, and two twins. Let me tell you what. The mattresses were so comfortable! It also had a living room which was great for the kids to play and hang out while us adults rested in bed, and perfect for early risers to go instead of staying in bed, waiting for everyone to wake up. Wait for it... We were also lucky enough to book a horse trail ride for Saturday afternoon! Let me tell you something, we had a blast. Being able to see the entire ranch! It's huge, and so very beautiful! Our trail guide was amazing. Definitely hooked on the horseback riding, and we can't wait to go back! Also had the pleasure of welcoming new additions to the RSR livestock family. Such a wonderful experience. These are the memories we love making. Thank you Rockin Star Ranch for having us and treating us like family.

Another Great Stay!

Awesome property and another great stay. It is fun to go back each time and see the incremental improvements Darrell keeps making to the property that just make our stay that much better! Weekend retreat for Anniversary

Darrel was very Welcoming and polite when he greeted us when we arrived at the Ranch. The Patio Suite was VERY nice with a excellent view of the Ranch. The bed was very comfortable with soft linens. The pool and outdoor kitchen was spot on. The kitchen was set up for any kinds of cooking/grilling needs. All condiments were there at your use if needed. Over all 5 stars! We plan on bringing the kids next time in the near future. Good times!

Amazing quick getaway!

Rockin Star Ranch is perfect for a fun, chill getaway in the country. We Enjoyed the beautiful landscape of the farm. Accommodations were as comfy and cozy as our own home. Plenty of linens, pillows and towels were provided. Darrell was communicative and very attentive. Our children loved seeing all the animals and interacting with them. The sunset is like a reset on the soul. The pool was cool and big. We enjoyed cooking in the fully stocked outdoor kitchen. Lots of room to roam around, catch up on a good read or just soak in God’s country.

Absolutely amazing. Everything was 5 star. Pool,cabins,kitchen and property

My family and I enjoyed the ranch so much we’re coming back in June. Kids got to feed the animals,nature walks and of course the amazing pool. S’mores & Fire were a huge hit! Kids got to bottle feed a baby deer,picnic under a old oak tree and we got to tour this amazing property. If you’re looking for a family getaway look no further Rocking Star Ranch is the best! On a side note no need to pack a coffee maker,towels,skewers,plates,seasoning, utensils Rockin Ranch has you covered!

Dream Getaway

This location was perfect! I couldn’t of asked for a better stay! The hospitality from the owner was better than most hotels, staying there felt like a cozy home away from home! I highly recommend this place to everyone and anyone looking for a getaway :) I can’t wait to go back!
