It is a shame that such a clean and well located property is so poorly managed. The property itself is great. It is well located, clean, cozy, with a lot of amenities, and very close to a market. The way it works is you have to ring the buzzer at the front door and have them let you in. Sometimes they let you in instantly, but a lot of the time the buzzer would just ring and ring with no response. It happened a lot at night but at one point it also happened before it was even 4 pm. One night my party and I got back really late at 12:30 am, which I double checked there were no rules against. I called the host 16 times and got no response so we had to spend a night at the (more expensive) hotel across the street. The next night we knew we were gonna be back late again so I asked the host if this would be a problem and I got confirmation that we should be fine. We were not fine, my entire party got locked out of the building for the second night in a row. At that point, I canceled the rest of my stay and went back the next morning to pack all our stuff and the refund we got back barely covered 50% of the hotel stay. I understand some properties give you a specific curfew but this one didn’t and again I even asked beforehand. I have a character limit so I can’t even get into the fact the laundry was inaccessible to us and the host did nothing about it (even though I sent them a video with proof) or how difficult they were to reach both times we got locked out.
