Please note that we are centrally located in a 200-year-old town. Our street is a dead end, so there is no through traffic, but there are homes, antebellum mansions, apartments, businesses, churches, and civic/cultural centers in the surrounding blocks. If you feel uncomfortable staying where there is not suburban uniformity—where there is diversity of people, activities, architectural styles, etc.—you may have a better experience elsewhere.
While we do not forbid children, this house isn't well suited to children. There is fine furniture and no child-friendly entertainments. Some past guests with children have had difficulty avoiding being charged for carpet cleaning and extra cleaning. Children under age 18 may not remain in the house without an adult present.
